Your figures have improved so much :D I'm really excited!
These faces are awesome, they're not fail at all.
This page is really good, great proportion and energies.
Be mindful of bone structures though, try to think of where the iliac crest is. Like on the bottom left of this one
if you map out where the anterior superior iliac spine(the two front pelvic points) and the greater trochanter, the connection of the leg would be much easier to find.
@continue: Thanks for the tips, Ill have to check out the medical terms so I actually know what you are talking about.
Yesterday I was so tired, I wonder how I got through the work day at all, after work I still had to go to a wood workshop to continue a project, so when I came home I just collapsed on the sofa.
Todays studies were total crap, so I just did something from imagination:
Once again I've had a couple of busy days with work and personal stuff. I still managed to draw, but just couldn't find the energy to post the stuff.
Instead I started a livestream yesterday so I felt that I didn't really need to post anything since its all been recorded. Go to www.livestream.com/kweckduck to check out yesterday's sketches. I was so tired I forgot what day it was and named the file incorrectly, but that's just details.
Nice progress in your sb man, I dig the fact that your lines are getting stronger everyday. I also liked a lot the comic faces, they're very gestural, really great. On the other hand I'd recommend some foreshortening studies to get full grasp of figure perspective, and strongly recommend checking out Kevin Chen's demos and study them out when you get time, after having cleared out base structure with loomis and all that stuff , Kchen is the way to go after that, at least for me, it cleared out big deal of stuff I wasn't sure enough, keep it up man, cheers!
Thanks for all the comments.
@jedi: I take it you are referring to the colour stuff?
@suira: I think Ive come across his work before. Does he have any books are websites where this stuff is explained in more detail?
@chaz: I've got too many books on the same topic still to go through, so I think the anatomy studies will continue for a while still. I really hope that by the end of it I'll not need to focus on it so much anymore so I can start focusing on other things.
@bopx: Yeah, at least in the earlier pieces, do you still see it in the later ones?
The thread that I used to inform people that I was up and streaming got closed down, so I'll just put the notifications here and just post the pieces like usual once Im done.
I'll be drawing all day so I think that kind of streaming session would be a bit too long. Ill do one in the evening again.
you'll always have to return to it regularly if you want it to stay solid...it's just like how a music student can't stop scales/triads/technique for probably ten years until they're "fine" haha. even professionals still practice technique all the time so...just an opinion! so its probably good to do other things too while maintaining anatomical study.

D*AM YOU IMAGESHACK!! They keep rejecting these drawings of the naked form. If I try to take it in a positive way they are giving me feedback and are telling me:
"These drawings have crossed some invisible line of quality and represent the human form so well that we are not allowed to show them to the public. These other ones aren't, so keep on working."
