MBK- Thanks! Hopefully this stuff will just keep getting better and better.
Metal Fingers- I definitely agree, I think my shapes and value can get muddled at times.
p sage- The Rodin is from life, I have to little miniature book ends. If the legs seem long it might be do to some bad foreshortening on my end.
agelos- Hopefully it won't take as long for me to get to those next seven pages as it took me to get here.
teapo- the space piece, as it stands, is about 45 minutes of noodling. I think it's kind of hard, especially with the smaller dot like elements because your natural instinct is to go to a brush that can do the random dots, but they end up being a little to perfect. I've got a long ways to go on the texture front.
adamsimons- Hopefully I'll get a better camera sooner rather than later, that way I can do the paintings a bit more justice.
not my best update, but in my defense, I've been on vacation for the past few days. i'm trying to work on my lines both digitally and traditionally. I tend to be a bit excessive when I start out. The painting is one of four that will be some semi-abstract paintings of the Milky Way, painting title is Mother's Milk I. The rest are just some random studies and some further doodling on a knight sketch.
I'll be swinging around sketchbooks soon, thanks for dropping by.
