Hello everyone!. I've been lurking here a while and finally decided to join up and start an online sketchbook because I'm not content with where my drawing skills are at. I'm an 18 year old guy currently going to a local community college doing gen ed classes hoping to do 3d animation. If anyone has some colleges they would like to recommend or anything like that it would be appreciated. Been drawing for a long time but only really started taking art classes late high school. Hoping to learn a lot from this and I hope you people would help me do that. Critique me, point out what's wrong, throat-punch me into submission so I stop being so lazy; all the typical stuff.
Specific Areas of Improvement for This Year:
-Hands and Feet (how do they work?)
-Basic Landscaping/Environment Stuff
For the viewers at home I apologize in advance for the upload avalanche I'm about to throw down. Everything that I'm uploading has been done in the last year if I remember correctly. Will upload in as close to chronological order as possible.
Edit Note: Removed A lot of stuff, probably intimidating people from looking through.
Side note: I was watching Parks and Rec at the time and that lady in the lower right came out looking way more like Amy Poehler(sp?) than she should have
Gooblin sketches for a CHOW color digital version lower.
Bunch of 60 sec figure drawings. Also past this point everything was done within the past few weeks.
60 sec drawings end here. Little warm up doodles followed by some faces and a session on artists.pixellovely.com
Too much skyrim.
more 60 sec drawings
I've felt that I've been stuck in a rut with no improvement lately, but the good thing about looking back through your old sketchbook is seeing somethings so bad they make you gag; which means I'm improving, right?
Sorry about the whole images getting chopped off on the sides. My scanner is smaller than my paper, but the two new sketchbooks I've bought should fit.
HERE COMES THE DIGITAL STUFF
Basically my only attempt ever at creating an environment. Vulcan City home of the Cyclposes... cyclopii?... cyclii?...
I did this after seeing one of those shows on NGC, or the History Channel maybe, about those Louisiana gator catchers. For some reason I could not stop laughing while drawing this.
Another work for a CHOW, I forget which one.
Gooby the Gooblin
So yeah, that's pretty much it. Congratulations if you made it this far. Sadly, I don't have a lifetime supply of Riceroni the San Francisco treat to give to you. Welp, if you have any comments, opinions, questions, or maybe you'd just like to get to know me over a glass of RC Cola drop me a line or a comment. If anyone could point me in a direction of how to get started with any of my goals if you have any ideas or tutorials or anything of the sort, that would be T-Riffic. Look forward to learning with you guys!

Would have liked to keep some of this , but the attachment manager is a huge pain in my ass. It was just some 60 sec drawings mostly.

WELL LOOK WHICH WEBSITE IS DECIDING TO BE UP AGAIN! I swear, since I've joined it's been down like 80% of the time.
