Those hand studies are awesome, on the bouguereau I spotted something was off and I think I found a couple of small points.
In your study her nose has one big bended line going up to the eyebrows. While in the original painting there seems to be a more apparent bump in her nose, which would result in the top of her nose going to the right a tad more, which would cause her right (our left) eye to move to the right a bit more too. Starting a chain reaction that would alter the shape of her right (our left) outline of her face making her cheekbones stand out a little less.
I think her mouth also needs to be wider towards the right and her left (our right) eye seems to be tilted down a bit too much.
I really like the way you did the hair and how you achieved a general softness in her face. Oh that reminds me, I think her hairline could also be moved down a little.
Hope this was helpful and keep up the great work.
Teundeboer - Thanks for taking the time to leave me some feedback, I really struggled to get anywhere close to a likeness to the original. I might go back in and try and fix a few things, your tips will come in handy.
Here's a value study I did yesterday from a Carl Dobsky oil painting.
