waahh, back at college! quick doodles, sketches of people at lunch and a study which isn't really up to scratch.
same fella who sent me the moon script also sent me a hellboy story (which was meant for his mate, apparently a pro comic book artist who's er, a bit lazy). I didn't think I had time to do it before, but sod college (to an extent!) because I properrrlly fancy getting my teeth into it hence the hellboy picture. gouache is weird
ooh, and a painting I did over christmas. background is reffed from a picture of a victorian train station (and is tremendously wonky, not helped by my shit camera skills). fancy doing more finished pieces. Can't remember the last time I did something that was properly "finished"
taking my tiiime. got to remember that and got to keep thinking about why things work
What an overwhelming lesson to all artists! Be not afraid of absurdity; do not shrink from the fantastic. Within a dilemma, choose the most unheard-of, the most dangerous, solution. Be brave, be brave! - Isak Dinesen
