Some update I went for a more standing in the midst of battle scene,
I'm liking how the design looks as far as big shapes go now, ill render this
one tomorrow and ill move onto the next one.
Thanks for the kind words, man. Hopefully something will turn up for me. If it doesn't it'll just give me more time to work on personal study, I guess. Heh. These latest sketchbook pages are awesome! A lot more fluid and full of life!! I'm definitely looking forward to more of these, man. A lot more emotion in some of the eyes and faces too. Keep pushing!
Just wanna say thanks for dropping by my SB and also to give you a heartfelt "YOWZA!" to express my admiration for you work.
Carnifex: ya I have been busy so I was no able to get the sith done

design and I need to build up the portfolio.

on her again, thanks for the scan and for the chat, talk to you soon bro!

I been kinda busy getting lots of paper work to get a work visa to work on
Canada lately and I had to travel to a couple of cities to get all that done
in the middle time I drew some scenery and ppl, I have some more imaginative
stuff but its for work so I cant show
Also I got feature on ImagineFx on the Fxposé section my good friend Ryan was
kind enough to provide me with a scan of it, here's the link in case you guys
wanna see the page
I'm really nervous about the work visa, if i get it I would be moving to Canada
on the next months to work on a casual games company, there's some very
good ateliers on Canada and I'm hoping I will be able to save some money
to attend to one of them, so wish me luck

I hope it's all going to work out with the visa and atelier. Also congrats on getting featured in ImagineFX and FXpose. That sounds like a good sign for the future. Things start happening
The ink images are fantastic. I'm the most impressed by the top one here http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...6&d=1236938626. I like playing with strokes to get some interesting texture.

Btw, 2 quick questions.
1. I've never tackled an extensive background to this scale before. What I found is that the scan quality has made the lines very grainy, and I will have to clean the lines up (at least on the focal areas of visual interest) by going through it with ink tool. Do you know if there's a quicker way to do this at all?
2. What tips do you have on producing convincing skin textures? Assuming I have very limited brush functions? (I'm using the freeware gimpshop and it's brush function is just plain buggy)
It is such a joy to just sit here and quietly stroll through these pages that give a small glimpse into your mind. It must be hell in there No, but these are really really nice man, could love to see some real rendered work though, but maybe I am not looking hard enough
ohh, first one's really nice. btw,you coming to europe for the workshop? sure would be cool (heh, gotta figure out money myself...i'll probably beg my parents)
JERI: ur welcome kind sir, I will try to stop by yer thread again soon, its just
that I'm kinda swapped by work this days THANKS so much for the nice
reply make me feels so good that the OV and critic worked for ya,
you made my nite
Mischeviouslittleelf: Well there some finished work of mine laying around in
the depth of my thread or in maxetormer.com, I'm glad you like the work sir,
I like yours very much, your thread is a big source of inspiration!
Carnifex: I doubt I will man... I'm booked for two years of work here,
so even if I could maybe muster the money, I probably would not have time
to go... but how knows I might, I def wanna go to another workshop in the
future, just don't know when that ill be..., on and thanks for the props and
for stoping around!
Ok Im very busy lately but I'm still doing studies outside work, I gotta get up
early tomorrow, so ill make this quick and with as little pain as possible je je
Thanks for looking will have some more the next weekend

tonight and some how I gotta pull out an environment out of my ass before the
night ends... thanks for stoping around man, i needed the nice words a lot

K a still life study one of my coworkers called Celia placed the flowers and
the black feather on the vase and I decided to paint it, I gotta do more of
this as my refining systems and surfacing are very much in the diapers
and one idea for a painting... dunno if it ill get past this stage mmmmm.
Thanks for looking
Love it as always dude! The still life of the desk and flowers is great and i love the potential of the grayscale idea. Also i think my teacher would love it if i could draw people and animals with movement lines like those in the last post so i am gonna take my inspiration from you! Please keep posting.
comixnut: Hello old friend thanks for your nice words, you way to kind, I'm glad some of my stuff was able to inspire you, keep looking for those rhythms,
I know you will find them!
A doodle I did last night, i couldn't sleep I needed to draw something outside work stuff, this is the result thanks for looking
man o man
we never find the right situation for a long chat but i am really really happy things are going well for you and
your stuff is really looking good.
Update 324 and 325 are especially impressive to me, absolutely loving the dynamic sketches, really impresive stuff, the still life painting, the "birth on consience" and this latest "guilty pleasure" drawing!
(btw don't you have a scanner at your new place?)
its always cool to hear you've got some strong objectives in mind and its admirable you work towards them with such dedication
i'm so curious to see what your work stuff looks likeeee!!!
TheGnoll: Ja, ja, I'm still a long way to go form what I want to be able a to do,Some of the work stuff I'm pretty proud of some of it I have to churn out
so fast that I end up not happy about the time spent on the piece
I'm glad you liked the dynamics studies man, the lord knows is something
I worked for long time, and I still don't have that part of my work under control, but its getting better
Some druid WIP my uncle Roberto in oils, and a funky SP that I did for
I'm still working in Canada, in other news, I'm gonna be published
in exotique5 more on that once the book is out
I think the last time i've seen your art was over a year ago. Some ace stuff here, i'm impressed!
Hello there, Thanks for the nice words man, Good to hear you see improvement, thanks for taking the time to drop around.
K I'm not dead just busy and tired, I'm beginning to develop some comic characters, hope you like some of em, they are

the time to photograph 'em ill upload them, THANKS for viewing.
