snooootttcchhhhuyyyy! It's Peetaer here. I got a new SB. You've been a busy man! It's good to see you in full swing again. How have you been?
jigje: thanks sooperstar! yea i definitely will try to work on something a bit more finished, i think i treat this sketchbook like cheap paper where it's just a collection of ideas more than finished stuff but then again don't have much finished stuff either hahaha!
GrannyMassRockn'Rolla: sup dood good to see u back sorry to hear about the bad stuff going on in ur life but I hope everything works out and u'z one of the strongest peepz i know so i know u gonna be all good!
AvisNocturna: danke!! you the best Nele, now I can be pimp at Wies'n all cuz of you! i'm really glad u are back posting, u may be hard on urself but i luv the looseness of ur sketches and maybe it's not what u were shooting for but think it gives individuality to ur lines XD
hala: hala berry button buxom keke how's is u?! ready to kick ass this fall? best be and better keep us up to date on what's coming out of that cooky cragee head of urs!
Mr.Pryminista: yooooO Peetaer-son, what is up my jiggah man! how's everything?! dood y the switch to a new SB? can't believe how much u've progressed from when we started in SSG 69, i'm glad to see you posting again and will be watching closely like a predator muhahaha!
Holland: thanks dood, u were definitely one of those big inspirations when i first started, i remember looting ur brush pack think it was the 'more brush pack with the building silo's and stuff, really glad to see u started SB here on CA and look forward to following urs as well!
BlackDelphin: thanks Christine, name is Mike btw, sorry it's so much easier to call u that than BlackDelph hope u dun mind, hee hee! Where's the update mang?! I'm waiting eagerly. So have you taken any roadtrips yet?
some sketches and 2 speed vids, first is 14 min sketch and second is a 40min sketch; kinda practice to just get overall image or composition sketched out quickly
edit not sure why embedding youtube vids aren't working
nm just figured it out it's a lot easier now u just have to use the yt tag with the code in the url

Yeah, sure thing Mike! I actually saw your name in Matt's sb last night and wanted to ask in my next post. You outrun me though.
Just came back last night, wanted to reply to you guys and did my fitness. Didn't have time to scan in my work. I'll update today!
You can bet i took it for a spin! It's a real treat.
SP look good, and i see you have that perspective brush.
I wanted to download it too, but it was taken down. Could you send it to me? -Thanks!
These envos you've posted have some nice detail.
And the 2nd one has a really awesome colour scheme too!
More of that!
Brahimpag: thanks for the encouragement and great start youngblood hehe!!
Grandmassa Mr. Spect: lol thanks, but not as painterly as u, those last few refs u did is what i'm trying to get to, some nice edges; definitely we'll have to catch up on msn chat, maybe sometime this week, sorry this weekend was just in a drunken stupor hehe!
Holland: thanks dood, gonna take ur lead and share my brush set, definitely nothing like the kickass stuff u put out and we need an update NOW hehe no pressure!
kelly x: hiyee, and thanks, so glad to see you back on the forums, seems like so many greats are leaving and u definitely being the one of them with the most beautiful pinups!
inspectorsokar: hey thanks, will try to for sure!
jigje: thanks dood, but i'd take one of ur kick ass renderings over 200 of my lousy sketches any day!
BlackDelphin: thanks Christine! i'm glad ur enjoying ur ride, hope u have fun kicking it in the hood with ur new whip! oh and i've attached my brush set fer ya!
maeshanne: thanks dood, see some nice improvements in ur sketches just from the short time i stopped by last, keep up the goodness!
an unfinished ref, really dug the lighting, focusing on edges and stuff, also a quick sketch (can't believe how long it's been drawing in lines) and my brush set if anyone's interested...
Hey! You're still at it. Nice stretch. I like these last sketches.
NicG: thanks, yea i'm an addict hehe!
Granny: definitely let's catch up on thurs be good to hear about the crazy mayhem ur up to hehe, thanks!
some pencil/pen sketches, sorry really crappy scan and scan in wrong resolution hehe...
BlackDelphin: thanks and no prob! yea got still looooong way to go, still got sooo darn much to learn oy vey!
some loose sketches and working again on that grisaille digi paint, should've really got the proportions down first before blocking in the colors/values, gonna have to re-sketch it out...
And i think that's the whole point Michael. The whole journey is what we actually seek, if we get to the finish line, we'll look for a new start line.
So we'd better enjoy the ride hehe
Looking good with these! Particularly the last figure. I think I've seen it somewhere before, but I can't find it any more.
Or perhaps it was something similar.. It this the grisaille you were talking about?
You said it yourself that you need to redo the proportions n such, so no use pointing out. Perhaps just the shadow. Be careful of the angle.
Seeing you do figures, makes me want to do some more myself! Woohoo! Let's kick it up a notch!
dude you've really come so far; once you tighten up the anatomy underneath ur gonna be so ballin, you'll put gangsters to shame!!
Hey, I really like the sketches and the nude is awesome!
BlackDelphin: haha u said it sistah! thanks yea it was a nude ref off of DA, not sure if i still have the link but when i finish will post a the original link, hope all is good in ur hood!
hala: super thanks mma baller! hehe it's all good i'm not trying to make in this field just a super enthusiast hobbyist, gonna be a square medicine man forever!
NicG: thanks i really like all the hardwork ur doing and also happy for u that u were able to find classes!
JailHouseRock2: thanks Matt, you are killing it with the sketches, i really dig ur hatch style!
sorry been a bit busy lately getting some last minute stuff together for trip to Munich, but will try to post as much before leaving, hopfeully find some time to sketch over in Germany albeit a bachelor party but it'd be interesting to have a collection of drunkard sketches...
might be a spam kind of day, some line work and last sketch not sure why but shadow skill popped into my head not really representational but was trying to get that style...
Snootchy! danm man really liking your color use
all of its looking promising and some awsome improvements
keep it up and keep having fun
till next time
sketchbook updated October 6th
You are getting so much better with your envos!
This last one really shows that.
Been busy myself, haven't gotten any sleep in either.
So I can't brag about it either.
In any case, these look great, and you just have to practice more.
Wanted to suggest more real life studies, but it seems you'll be doing that.
Have a safe trip!
Nice env in the last post

I just dont know what to type every time I'm here.....
Your work is stunning ... thanx for the constant inspiration and for dropping in to my SB for a gawk.
Thank you so much for sharing you art and input!
OmertA: thanks man, but wish i was improving as much as u are, i'm still blown away by ur improvement! also my bad for not emailing u when u sent me ur email to keep in touch when there was that news about CA possible closing down will pm u my email to keep in touch
a la bapsi: ooh yummy crits mucho thanks hombre chica! yea major suxors haven't been to life drawing in over a year but going to work on that much more focusing on character sketches so will definitely need to improve those aspects thanks!
BlackDelphin: keke shanks blush =D actually i think i still suck really bad with enviro and just about everything else but it's a journey like u said and i hope i never find contentment in art so that it never gets boring hehe and yes definitely going to do life drawing much more hopefully!
freakmod: thanks man will keep pushing to get better in enviro'ng and sketching overall for that matter hehe!
shambok: haha thanks man, but if anything i look up towards ur finished work and sketches cuz u just have that much more of a clearer vision of what u want to put on the canvas and i dig that sooooo much more!
so some quick refs done from photorefs, not sure y but it takes me sooo much longer to do these than if i were to sketch at a life drawing session maybe it has to do with the fact that i'm pressed for time in life drawing so i measure and do stuff quicker or try to
also a quick value enviro thumb
I'm really liking the first and last figures! That last environment looks juicy - do you use any ref for these?
