thanks for the comments bunny.
Here are some rejects from a project I recently worked on.
i really like the sp, the reject work is pretty cool too, i like how that sword is looking in the middle
awsomeness. i love that first self portrait. lots of originality within it. that would be a great piece to take further to completion. your rejects are cool, the bodies are great, particularly the legs and u have some awsome feet. i feel like the faces do not carry over that same quality though, but great stuff.
Sketch I made of my friend, Shahana.
Thanks xxEnder. I appreciate the comments - i never really finished the sword though. it was totally improvisational lol.
kawakaze - thanks. i'll post some more up close face work. faces at a distance are somewhat harder to draw.
Man, I love the line quality and style on posts 1 and 6, the organic quality they have to them is gorgeous. I'd love to see them colored
Cheers, and please let us see more!!
I'm a very big X-MEN junkie and was a big fan of the Cyclops/Madelyne Pryor/Jean Grey Saga.
I sort of decided to do my own take on Maddie Pryor as the Goblin Queen who i think is the most tragic character ever created in comics.
Alias Sketchbook Pro 2.0 and Intuos 2 (12x12) with Photoshop for some help.
My coworker pointed out a few crits to me which he made me fix lol.
just to give you guys an idea of how much i dont have an idea of colour... heres something.
did this all in photoshop - including the drawing and the photo maniped bg. theres some alias sketchbook pro i used for finishing. i love sketchbook pro.
made this for a friends birthday.
lots and lots of uniball pens and paper.
sweet updates. again love the lineowrk. your work would really be nice w color however id love to see u do some full scale value studies on your work. anyway i love ur stuff, great compostions, badass linework. i dont mean to impose or anything but ur style seems like it kind of matches up w sam flores in a way, perhaps u could attack colors in teh same manner.
hey thanks for the tip on sam flores.
im going to study him now :>
I like the style you use, like layered pencil and fineline pen, works well. Gives a kinda unique feel about the work. Keep up the good work!!
Some colouring attempt
Here's the Line Art, and then colouring steps. All of this was done in Alias Sketchbook Pro 2.0 and then the colour contrast work was done in Adobe Photoshop 7.0. I'm not particularly fond of PS for painting and drawing. It feels incredibly different.
Some good linework and form going on in here
With coloring, trying to see the basic form as you paint - the primitive shapes. Arms become cylinders, that sort of thing. Faces are a lot more complicated - but you can still distill it down. Cheers!
Mix of Sketchbook Pro 2.0 and Adobe Photoshop CS 3 Beta.
The quality of your line work is very interesting. Unique.
something i did for the gfxartist wall poster thing.
oh and this was for the pixelbrush RPG competition
sketchbook pro is still an evil thing for me
pixelbrush entry is great
bakatronland - i drew this in greece inspired by meteora. great place. it will change your life.
the self portrait was done wholey with my baby, sketchbook pro. its also COLOUR - im getting slightly more comfortable with colouring things.
the cyclops was a thing i did at pixlebrush but also an experiment with ps cs3's drawing tools. at the end i got fed up and finished it off with sketchbook pro.
more doodles over on my beloved notebook!

I really love your fluid linework! Have you tried colouring it with watercolour at all? A flowy medium might work well for your style! I love the sci-fi esque scenery, too.
more stuff i did in my sketchbook last year.
