yup...now i do...i used to do everything traditional [ pen, pencil, paint ]- but ever since i got into storyboards fulltime ive had to challenge myself to draw and paint completely digitally. So many changes are asked in production that it was driving me crazy having to redraw whole panels just because they wanted pieces of it altered. I use photoshop to do all my heavy lifting with pencils, inks, paints, and photo imports. I work in layers so changes are easy and pleasant. The tablet is a must- for me, trying to draw with a mouse is like trying to draw with a block of soap. There is a certain wierdness in using the tablet at first , but it goes away....i also tape a few sheets of paper over the top surface and then draw on that....it gives the same feel as drawing on real paper.
