    Sith lord concept

Hi everyone. This is my first post here. This is a concept illustration for the "draw a sith lord" unofficial challenge hosted at CGS.

I wanted to try a sith lord with a white costume, since there aren't any, and I know in Japanese culture, white is the color of death, so I thought it could work.

I did this piece mostly in painter, the lightsabers were done in photoshop. I'm kinda new to digital painting and still getting used to working with the wacom tablet, so this took me about 9 hours to complete. Hopefully I will be able to finish the next one in less time.

    All crits & comments welcome.
    Thanks.

Nice start, Watch out for the values though, convert it to black and white just to make sure you got them right.

    Couple of suggestions and crits:
Perspective on the figures behind. Some are far away, but not smaller. They also seem naked or wearing really tight clothing.
Front figure looks a bit flat. Not sure how comes, might be the pose, or because his sleeves are attached to the front of his clothing. He looks a bit bent over, or he's a bit short/too broad. I also think his cap is lacking a bit in shape, it looks a little big too. The problem with the cap is also, that you can't see the underlying structure, like the neck and shoulders.
Many lightsources by the way. Think you're better off with just one, consistent one.

I like the composition, and the clothing design. Interesting color palette too, though the sky looks a bit too much like the rest. Lightsabers came out good too.

What's CGS by the way? And remember opinions expressed above are not from an expert ^^ . Hope this was useful.
