    Unholy Trinity

I haven't colored anything digitally (let alone finished it) in a while...the original drawing is ink on 18x24 bristol, color photoshop 7.

I've already decided that I don't like the feathers, but I have no idea how to change them to my liking. Suggestions welcome.

I can make some suggestions for the feathers, but ultimately part of it depends on how realistic or not you want them to be.

in lieu of specific advice, I can tell you to visit the University of Puget Sound's archive of wing photos, organized by species. http://www.ups.edu/x5662.xml Perhaps something in there will inspire you

Very cool trio. The only nitpick I can point out is that you have a baaad tangent with the tip of the dude's hat and the demon's shoulder. It's bringing Dude-guy a little too far forward so he looks less like his in the background, and more like he's attached to that arm.

Meanwhile the redhead is a cool looking character, but the bottom half of his body is chopped off. Even if he's really skinny, some of him should still show around the arm.

    My favorite is definitely Dude-guy.

Xazy: Thanks for the link! I think I found the wing I was trying to mimic there.

Kaete: Oh, shoot, I totally missed that part with the hat! Thanks for the tip, I'll shorten the brim or something so it won't look grafted onto the other guy's shoulder. And that thing about Red-head was bothering me too...I'll see what I can do to give him a bit more mass.

    Dude-guy loves you, too.

Ultimately, I feel like if there were really that much red light in the atmosphere, the colors on the figures would be much warmer.

    Updated version!

    Edits:
-fluffed up the feathers and made the lighting less harsh
-detached hat brim from demon's shoulder
-added girth to the redhead (but not by much...)
-reddened the light outlining the characters

    Thanks, you guys!
