Hey man, thanks for passing by my sketchbook ! As I said on CGTalk, your farming unit is really cool, there's awesome atmosphere to it. Nice bright lighting on the last one ; is it an ark, or some seaship ? I like the fishes too - nice depiction of the water surface and underwater "blurriness".

    Daily sketch !
Old sketchbook, with apes and ghost towns.

    thank you Mawh and brodywms!

    this one is about pain.
the kind of physical pain that suddenly grabs a hold of you and you seem powerless to do anything about.
you cant move, cant breathe, cant see past this insurmountable obstacle.

if anything, at least the codeine was good..

I'm not fan of the colors or the lighting on this one but it has definitely a great dynamism !

Good gourd, explain to me how this SB isn't five stars yet! You obviously know your way
around a tablet. The only helpful critique I can offer is maybe your colors get little washed
out in places? (more so the landscapes). I feel like the atmospheric perspective is getting
a little over-exaggerated. Cool shiz tho man, keep trudging on!!

Farquad: thank you! yeah I tend to like my fog sometimes I can be heavy handed with it! ^^

cout<mecha: thank you! I just needed something quick to set up the shader, the model is a free one from turbosquid altough I had to modify it as they're usually pretty bad.

render is in maya/mental ray with final gather.

NickyBeats,Velocity Kendall,Parsakoira: thanks for stopping by, glad you like!!

WOOOOOOAH haha many I've been on CA for ages and not seen this sb before! All of these paints are good, but some of them have just blown me away. The fish "speedpaint" is incredible in particular.

Nothing to crit, as I'm nowhere near the level to comment constructively, but just keep doing what you're doing and I'll be back

I'm just gonna go ahead and agree with Thomas here. No words, just keep this up, cause you're fucking awesome!

Oh, i'm curious, how did you go about learning how to model that car? I've seen many tutorials, etc.. but i haven't had the time to delve into any of them..any recommendations?

have some stars, you deserve them. subbed as well.

    ...the imperfections make it interesting...

    shard-man, respect
i'll tell you what I said to some more people out here, it's really impressive to say at least, to jump from the first page of your skb to the last one and see how much progress you made by now.

i love your characters, but what really gets me are your environments, sick and powerful, post #319 is whoaaa

    ThomasM: thank you!!

Dope Fiend,Ikage, tobbA: thanks!! I find the succession of your posts with your avatars quite amusing..its like a band or rocking people just stopped by..wooo!! \m/
dope fiend: I didnt model the car as I just needed to quickly set up the shader for something, but I was a long time modeler before getting into concepts..good resource nowdays are all the gnomon videos.
back in the day when i learnt all that stuff was mainly by reading guides on the web and asking people on cgtalk.com how certain things were made. some good tutorials on modelling on 3dtotal.com as well.

    shadow1687,Goran Radosevic: thanks a lot!!
