    wheres the justice????????????

Jailed socialite Paris Hilton has been released from jail after serving three days of her 23-day sentence after falling ill.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office said Hilton had been freed and would instead be confined to her home for 40 days wearing an electronic tagging device.

WHF she bought a get of jail card? this is not monolopy. Or did her parents buy the jail?

would you like the 4 star cell?

I suppose on the plus side the in mates will be celebrating they are being punished enough behind bars without spending a month with Paris.

But they are putting her under house arrest its like being suspended from school.... where's the punishment she lives in a mansion.....

if that is the punishment they are dishing out let me get a bottle of whiskey and drive in reverse down the free way.

they could have given her community service but they would have turned that into a tv show the simple life- community service

I have the terrible feeling she is going to milk this somehow like a movie of the week about her 3 day ordeal in prison or an appearance on Oprah.

    Honestly where is the Justice?????????

Well they did put ol' Scooter away for a couple years... I guess that's all the Justice that America can dish out in one week.

Ya I would feel good about that if bush wasn't just going to pardon him before he serves any time.

Any non celebrity (i use the word celebrity very loosely in this instance) would have had to stay in jail surely? Just because it's Paris Hilton she gets a slap on the wrist and basically....grounded. This annoyed me today.

not everything can be solved with drawing. sometimes people need to vent.

edit: also it sadly says a great deal about american justice system and what matters in this world today.

the only thing that grants me peace after this message is that she still has size 43 shoes (european i think). i call her bigfoot paris.

    Damnit.

I want her to suffer. This isn't cool.

Hopefully she'll lose her mind. Or learn to read.

i didnt even know she was in jail.
Seriously there is no point in even paying atention to celebrities or pop culture fads. Save of course those people who want to use their art to satirize it or something.

jag you are right but had bad day one of those chained to a drawing desk hand red raw from drawing nothing to show for it and then i hear that i had to vent though i get i am not as peeved at the inmates who were going to trun her into their bitch in the showers... or those kind of thing only happen in Oz.

What is worse is the fact that she corrupted Lisney Lohan, I used to think she was hot before the whole drunken, coke binge skankiness after she started hanging out with Paris. she should paid for that.

Fellah, Paris Hilton Hot????? since when. she is got that trampy rich girl thing going for her which I admit against my better moral judgement is a slight turn on...about 2% mind you, but looks wise.... she ain't anything special.

I'm not surprised, but not exactly outraged. Crying herself to sleep at night, constantly getting harassed (or so they say) by her co-inmates. She's a socialite for pete's sake, she's never had to endure anything near that.

Not that i feel sorry for her. Just a bit of pity.

I expect to end world hunger and war with one pencil at a time...

    >_> seriously dudes...come on!

I'm pissed.. I bet everyone in jail the first day is just as stressed.. seriously justice is for the rich.

mind you I don't give a damn of Paris, but the chances of someone being bought out, and a person going above the law is a bit sickenin'.

heh good article, but still doubtful. that sheriff is a douche bag. what POSSIBLE medical 'condition' cant be dealt with in jail?? 2 of my best friends are jailers in 2 large cities [not as large as LA but still pretty large] and they both have in-jail doctors. according to them, unless its something critical, they'll send an inmate to a hospital, along with gaurds, for an operation [or whatever] allowed to recover, then back to jail you go.

they tell me theres some inmates with sever diabetes and heart problems, they're only check on by the in-jail doctors on a regular basis. so again.. what POSSIBLE medical condition could she have that REQUIRED her to go home??

its nonsense.. and the lame excuse about over crowding is even worse. no reason they couldnt let out some other non-serious offender whos been there longer. whyd it have to be her??

its BS i tell you.. rich people get away with everything. - JAG

Paris Hilton was sent screaming and crying back to jail Friday after a judge ruled that she must serve out her sentence behind bars rather than in the comfort of her Hollywood Hills home.
I hope her fellow prison mates will make a real woman outta her. Spoiled brat.

Yeah... that's bullshit ... like the rest of the justice system. But if no one talks about it... and everyone just sticks their nose into their sketchbooks and draws then ... one day they will wake up in jail and wonder what just happened. Freedom requires eternal vigilance.

Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die.

    Forty five days...

Is that enough for her to remove herself from the limelight for the rest of her life?

Let's hope she doesn't get a book deal out of it though.
