    Here are is a series of quick studies I did last week.
    Concepts for a larger project started by the
    concept art club at school, involving the creation
    of a gas giant planet and all the flora and fauna.

    These are the floating landmasses that go up and down
    in the atmosphere, reaching heights that freeze the surface
    and kill all life, then dropping down and beginning life
    all over again.

    The new inhabitants have little understanding of what
    the strange landformations are, but attempt to preserve them.

    Hey! About time you started your own sketchbook. I love your landscapes, especially the sketches, so you must post more. Although, your painted ones are visually stunning too so...

    I'd crit you, but since I'm a character designer, I have nothing to say. Beautiful work, please continue to post lots and lots!

    btw - have any spare time to continue work on that children's book? If so, what do you need from me?

    i really like the stuff with the maps in the background. nice idea, gives a more adventurous feel. nice.
