    Photoshop-like Smudge Tool?

Do all of the blenders in Painter leave a white streak if you use them on a transparent layer? I usually just drop my layers when blending and work on the canvas, but I'm doing a picture with a lot of fire in it that I'm building in layers and I can't find a blender that will do the trick. Any suggestions?

Edit: Nevermind. Forgot I can do this by checking Pick Up Underlying Color.
