    NKunleashed sketchbook [nudity, life drawings]

So I'm going to start this sketchbook thing because it looks awesome. There is something very bullsh*t free about a sketchbook that leaves you exposed for true criticism, but also true appreciation. Plus, I'm hoping that this keeps me drawing on a more regular basis. I'm going to try and post some DSGs,COWs and CHOWs as I do them (which is an all too rare occurance). I'm also planning on posting some "academic" stuff in here like figure drawings, and maybe a still life or two. Please feel free to comment on my stuff, for better or for worse, and I will return the favor as soon as possible.

I hope to begin scanning things from my paper sketchbook and throwing them down at the top here very soon, so check back....PLEASE!!!

    Sketches

Just did this bad boy during some down time at work on 5/25/07

Here are the two weekly activities I've done. These represent my best "concept art" effort so please don't hold back negative comments. We can still be friends.

    CHOW

    COW

Here are some of the DSGs I've done which I think are better than some of the others, in no particular order. I'm posting them here much larger than they were intended to be posted so that maybe some process can be seen. (but probably they'll just look bad)

    DSGs

    fugure drawings

All done this last semester and all done in 2-3 hours. Most are hightened drawings.

    Hand Studies
All done this last academic year

    Random "Academic" Stuff

These also were all done in this past academic year and represent what I think is my best and most current ability with traditional, full-color rendering.

This is just a charcoal drawing of various Viking artifacts. One of my favorites just because it was early on in undergrad and I put lots of blood sweat and trears into it. Plus I'm all about the celebrating heritage. Just for fun.
