Amazing stuff here raven, though I'm not sure what your studding at
skewls looks like your an industrial designer, your robots and vehicles are real
neat. Any way your last WIP scared me off from making any crits cause its just
so dam good, maybe the right eye is a tad off but its friken amazing the colours
everything man. Keep it up!

tnx remmy, i'm actually studying Digital arts and entertainment.
Its a course to become a technical artist, so i get to do drawing, 3d and programming.
It isnt that easy to combine the artistic with the more technical but its doable so far
.
btw i'm far from having no crit works (is any work ever without a flaw?)
here are to very speedy doodles were i wanted to work with some cool colors

edit some more refined

My first practice with acryl paint, I never really did do any traditional painting and thought lets give it a go.
So i went out and bought myself 2 starterkits(atleast i think it are) 1 acryl and 1 oilpaint. I figure it wont be the best quality paint that i'm using since it was like 7 euro a kit which has 12 tubes of paint and 2 brushes.
So i started with the acryl since i read its the best one to start out with and i tried to paint something to see how the paint reacts.
anyway here it is, aint much but it's a start i guess :s

Good update - your work is getting better, I know these are quick but I think you should work on the mushy paint problem and clear lines, they will read better. I like this last girl she is starting to rock, her eyes are crooked - I like the eyes you did in some of the sketches, they are pop-eyes! cool style you are starting to form.

tnx kelly, yeah i should spend some more time on make my paints cleaner noted and ill work on it
apart from that im also doing anatomy studies now since my exams are finally done but i could resist doing this new doodleguy

Hi ravenslayer, really nice quantity of work you got here. I love post #140 very much
. (edit: one little crit maybe; his eyes look a little bit to "glassy". The highlights are very strong) The pastels are very well done too. How much time did you spend on these if I may ask?
The valuestudy is also cool but her right side a little bit rushed. No big deal really.
Anyway, no crits, just keep this nice sb up
!
