the post with the girl who was (in my mind's eye) using ice and an umbrella to conquer a dragon, remember: legs aren't two sticks extending out of a ball (the crotch) i try to remember them as emerging from the sides of the ... whatever that bone's called. Crotch bone. screw it, im no doctor!

    http://www.marvistavet.com/assets/im...ement_xray.gif

this didn't have the bone's name, but what it does have is a quick review on human leg bone structure with a mask of what we see...

    x-ray!

great stuff in this thread though, keep up the work, its really cool abstract stuff

Hey Raven, cool sketchbook you have going here..

I did a little paint over to show you what i mean when i say that you haven't quite got the 'personal triangle' of the babies face. Its a common trick when painting portraits to maintain a resemblance to note the triangle that is formed by the pupils and the spot below the nose. This is different and unique on each person you see. Apparently this triangle also never changes shape that much as we age, that why you can still recognize someone after a period of time....

Any ways. keep up the good work dude ;-)

tnx for the comment, i didn't know that one about the triangle
I am going to do some real face/anatomie studies from now on and maybe paint some more from reference along the way.
I really appreciate the comments so keep them coming so i can get much better at drawing and painting
