so am i grafguy ^^
here's a girl that started out as more of a doodle but eventually i started thinking i should put some of the things i learned in practise and try to paint her without using reference. So this is what i have atm
Now im going to try to refine her some more using reference and then give her some color
Hey man. Got some really good stuff going. Would like to see you hang of the blur effects that such strong backlights give. Instead, do more studies so that the chatacter shines on it's own.
Other than that, just keep posting, sharing and rocking
Do you mean updates in general or on the paint?, i decided to use the paint above as a final because i now know the bigger flaws in the piece.
I would have to redo the entire paint and because of a lack of time (i'm still following the entire DAE curriculum btw) i wasn't able to do that, but for my next paints i now know what to think about before i start the painting process.
Here are the character design sheets i handed in today

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world.
Ive been throwing myself into a lot of projects these days, mostly 3d and i have a lot of schoolwork too so my drawings stay mostly at doodlefase and i dont feel like scanning

Love your work man, keep it up!
Help me improve my drawing skills by commenting my sketchbook
your character looks great in 3D, but at the same time...ewww . I think the bellybutton could use some more work though.
Thx for dropping by.
Btw; nice updates in your sketchbook. Try to use more dynamic poses and more perspective when you choose a cameraview.
But nice work!

tnx for the comments, i usually try to play it safe with the poses but that results in works that dont look that interesting. Im going to try to work on that.
Here is wip of a traditional paint i am working on, i decided to try doing these some more
