    Hey nonie,

Maybe we're both right. A correct value with an incorrect edge can mess things up just as much as an incorrect value with a correct edge. It is all in the relationships, isn't it? Sweet character, though. I'm looking forward to some more oils!

LOVE the costume design. Great attitude and lighting. I wouldn't mind seeing her pistols riding a little lower, but it's a pretty nit-picky detail

That fat kid - try zooming out of and image til it's thumbnail size. If the values are right the image works fine. If the edges are wrong, can you even tell?

Idiot Apathy - If you must, but I don't appreciate the goddamn cursing.

Lake - ja could be. But they'd both be a little weird then cuz I totally just painted one and then flipped it. Yes I am lazy. (Well, I did adjust the lighting tho)

DavePalumbo - Hm. That would give her a bit more rockstar swagger. I don't really know the traditional height for hip holsters :/

    Jska - thanks!

    BohemianChaos - thanks also

    Call0ps - danke!

Havoc-DM - THanks a bunch dude! Glad you like

complete2 - yep, I'm nestled in Soma on the border of the TL.

zanzan - dude, love your stuff! Not sure I understand your question... I am in SF, I'm not at MB. I went to the Atelier though, so I know those guys

MurdokX - Thanks man! I'll try not to disappoint

said it in GA and i'll say it again:
    EPIC POSE!

only crit is the shading on her face could be confused for a 6 o'clock shadow, but that could just be my monitor's colors.

really awesome stuff you're churning out!

Yeah, I'm with Gus, the colours are generally looking kickass, but it looks a tiny bit like shes got some stuble. Keep em coming dude.

I kinda agree with GusTheRobot... I'm seeing the 5 o'clock shadow, and that chin is a little manish... she looka likea man!

but really, I love the pose, lighting and costume. It's an awesome painting either way.

Love the new piece of girl with corset - #300!! also your self portraits are good on page #1... I have yet to do anything that even resembles me nor do I want to!! very cool work you have here - I think the new one you are just working on she seems to have a small head compared to the body or maybe it's an up shot?... love the armor and attitude you are getting is bad ass!!-

Great stuff, nonie. : ) I really dig your sci-fi soldier- I'd love to see more characters akin to her design in games. Glad you're out there pushin'!

I really like that soldier. I also like the background design you put her on. Did you do this specially for her, or do you have a range of these type of background saved on your computer and you use/re-use them as and when you need them?

GusTheRobot - Yeah... I did kinda push the desaturation there. My bad.

Miles - Yeah I gotta fix that. Thanks.

    BohemianChaos - Hehe, thanks

kelly x - thanks! Self portraits can be a lot of fun. And yeah, if you're talking about the scifi chick one, she's kinda got heroic/video game proportions...

Victor B - thanks man The leg texture is super cheap, I just drew one line, copied/moved it a bunch of times, merged, copy/flipped it, and the cut out around the legs I am teh lazy. Glad it worked for ya!

Sway West - Yeah totally, I'm out here championing the kickass non-smutty chick agenda! My boss agrees with me though, it's pretty awesome There are some well-covered yet sexy chicks in Hellgate!

Bones Weep Tedium - I did it specifically for her, but it was a super quick thing with a few strokes of some custom brushes and a big soft brush overlay.

hm. The rock sprite's feet seem oddly placed - like the right heel is in front of the left, but his hips aren't mirroring it, yah?

Lake - he's twisting... Pose is odd, sure, but not incorrect. I do think I'm gonna push the hip tilt a little more though. Thanks

(Hehehe - I just tried it and actually if I try to even my hips with my heels standing like that as you suggest, it hurts!)

I dunno.. gotta agree with above comment, the pose does feel twisted. feels like the foot on the right (our right) should be pointed toward us more...

Emo guy/girl... The only thing girlie is the stomache does look like a womans add small 6 pack? Who knows? I like androgynous - but I do think he /she needs to be a little dirty if fighting and ouch coolness on the hand holes/blood - I just think he's too clean for the scene == a rhyme for you too... hee hee.

awesome stuff. love the sketchcrawl doodles.
holy fuck, that dudes shoulderpad is freckin sick, the little details are wicked cool.
i'd say his pecks and up rocks, chest and down could use some tightening, but you knew that already, also his legs blend into the BG a bit (my monitor at work's contrast sucks balls, so it could just be that)

and i've been a super idiot recently... i need to get up to SF, seriously

hmm Imight as well comeout of the open and say that you're one of the artists whose work I save regularly to watch and study from. Particularly your pen-lines are educational. But everything is great, really. A big thanks for sharing all this.
