Well done so far. Only crit would be to add a vein or two to the temple since its looking a bit too smooth. Are you adding color? The b/w gives it a nice classic touch, but Id also like to see it in color.

hey eXus, i love your crits in other threads.
his eye seems really small to me, and his head looks a little flat. i'm not sure if you were doing both on purpose or not, its one of those weird things where i can't really tell.
i really like his nose though, and he kind of reminds me of the muscley guy from sin city.

Another bit of update...now with color!

Thanks Mofongo...I added some veins in a way to the temple area...not the ones that pop out...I wanted to make a bit more subtle, but thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks Atomicovaries...yeah...now that you brought it up his eye is a bit small and his face is a bit flat, I did a paintover to see what his skull might look like and indeed is flat. I did enlarge the eyes a bit, but didn't want them too big...and tried fixing the flatness of the face...but instead of fixing it...I just kept making it look worse. so just left it as is, seeing as how I kind of like the way it looks.

And someone who likes my crits....now I need to go back and see what I have typed recently....

very nice job rendering this one out. I'd just recommend to use a different color either for the front- or the backlight, so the viewer can separate between the lightsources better

    cheers nookeh

More or less the finished version cause I need to move onto a different project.

Thanks Nuki for the suggestion...I think this is what you meant by changing the color of the lightsources...if it isn't I'm sorry, but that's what I got out of it.

yup, thats exactly what i meant. You could also give the front highlights that red color as well - you'll need to darken them therefore though.
