    I did this one below at the Drawing workshop on Downtown Los Angeles on 6th Street. The models were really feeling it that night.

    On this nu - pastel piece - The women has one eye open and one eye closed as if she is peeking as something that disturbed her rest.

    Pastel work

    Lately I have been inspired by Robert Vargas to do Pastel portraits. His work is incredible and I plan to to be as great or better one day.

    Concept Drawing

    This is a drawing the was inspired by the far out styles of John Mahoney. It is a woman from the back with tons of cables, cords and other devices. This drawing took around 3 - 4 hours.

    Reportage

    I did this one sitting at a Starbuck patio. Took about 2 1/2 - 3 hrs. Its 24 x 72.
    Micron ink pen.

    There's something very cool about the simplistic lines drawings here. I'm getting, for lack of a better example, a kind of Shel Silverstein "Where the Sidewalk Ends" feel. The black ones...are those scratchboards? I'd be interested to see some of your more "fleshed out" pencil or ink drawings, something with shading and depth beyond the one-dimensional line drawings. The new pastel studies are nice too, especially post #12.
