a lil sketch this night ^_^
Very nice! But you are avoiding the hands and feet. Make sure to include them - they are the second and third most expressive parts of the body.
I think you are awesome, and I wish you the best in your endeavors, but I am tired of repeating myself, I am very busy with my new baby, and I am no longer a regular participant here, so please do not contact me to ask for advice on your career or education. All of the advice that I have to offer can already be found in the following links. Thank you.
Perspective 101, Concept Art 101, Games Industry info,Oil Paint info, Acrylic Paint info, my sketchbook.
dude i like what i see here a fellow "Noob in training" eh *gives virtual high five*
anyways i agree with what seedling said about the hands and feet but im sure u're gonna update with more works so yeah...keep working hard
i think ill stick around if u dont mind
PS: the images in post #4 aren't loading for me ...maybe u should upload using the CA image attachments? saves the hassle of re-uploading when imageshack deletes the pics down the line i reckon
Your stuff shows alot of variety in both realistic stuff and imaginative sketches, really cool sketches..the figure in the first post shows your potential the most when it comes to painting, its great. strike a balance between the free sketches and the proper and accurate studies of still life, figures etc. Good Work!
I like your style. Mangish Anime mix with Realistic art. Great!!
Seedling Hey Thx for the advice
paperX Thx Dude ! You motivate me with your thread ^^so thank you again
amer-nazri Thx Nazri, it's hard to make that balance ^^" but i do my best between practicing my draw skill and learning / studying!
Micaiah Nelson Thank youu!
diablo912 Ahah ^^ thanks !

hey man great stuff! dont be afraid to post speedy sketches, thats what the sketchbook is for right? i like the boobie operation girl and the where is my penis zombie lol...are u blurring ur scans in photoshop? they look pretty nice and not overdone.
I have to say you have a great style going on at the moment, the real question is where do you want to take your skills, like what sort of job are you interested in?
paperX : Hey Thx Dude for support ! Yes I'm Gaussian Bluring some of my sketchises.
I want to take my skill in Drawing ( with pen only ) and i wanna be illustrator or chara designer.
great update! pen sketches are definitely the way to go to improve line quality and confidence, i really dig the camels, especially the digi one (some textures could help it more)....i dont have much crits for you as u are obviously searching and experimenting with your own style...but just one minor crit on the first piece (Camille i think?) if that was aiming for a more realistic finish then i would suggest u take note of the basic proportions of the human head.
the eyes should be around the half way mark of the face, and the hair line, eye brows, bottom of nose and the end of chin should all be of equal distance from each other (well around that ratio anyway)
just look up on some head anatomy and you'll see what i mean, i apologise if u already knew this and i'm just wasting your time
keep working hard man
paperX: Thx For consuls. I need to tell you something about the portrait ( i donnu search excuses) , it was a 20seconds portrait in the train ahaha ^^" well i don't know why i put it here. But... i think it's not an excuse, i have to know how make a normal face with simple lines in 20 seconds, but it's hard. and advises does not disturb me, ever If know already.
I made something new today. The Slide Show Session !!!!!!
I open my image viewer and i slideshow everything in rendom ordre, 20 seconds per picture, it's veryyyyy veryyy stressfull and i never know how to begin, and on what to focus my mind in first.
Colors For fun.
20 Seconds images Slideshow exercice and finish with a CG for training with more details :
BIGGER VERSION HERE

hey man good work! sorry about my last post, i know how it its like when doing a speedy (especially one on a train) if u do many of them on a smaller scale - say, one full page of people on the train every trip then i believe you will make improvements by the leaps and bounds. anyways...i really like all the anatomy work you're doing...remember to take a look at the actual muscles and bones themselves, the human form is basically made out of either muscle shapes or bone formations
PS: really like the digi in the bottom right corner, keep it up!
dude the camel with the blue bg is soooooo great!!!!
Kfeeras : Thx !
PaperX : Thx, Your advices are Priceless
Environnment training is the hardest thing a i ever hade ( i'm affraid to try the mecha part ) >.> My level is so low i don't know how a will make progress in this categorie of art T.T
fortunatly Pple here are so inspiring me.
hey man!! good on ya for keeping up with the updates
post 4 finally loads for me now and i can say impressed

• C Hurley's Sketchbook •
constant support is my middle name
anyhow...really great update as always, hmm i think the neck on the chick on the first piece might be a bit awkward...(have u tried some anatomy books by say, hogarth, loomis, or bridgmans? they're all great help )
I really dig the monster on the second page tho, have u ever thought about doing COW or CHOW challenges here on the forum? they're really fun and gives you an opportunity do finished pieces
Keep working hard man
PS: love the "cute drawings"
"Environnment training is the hardest thing a i ever hade ( i'm affraid to try the mecha part ) >.> My level is so low i don't know how a will make progress in this categorie of art T.T"

Thx you all!
PaperX : héhéhéhé! Thx you for crits! i'l make corrects very soon.
I'm training in B&W Colors a this moment.
WOW! the painting looks really great! i'd suggest moving her left eye (our left) more inwards (as in the gap between her two eyes looks a bit wide atm...) and up a bit, apart from that great stuff!!! you going to colour it?
Thx Paper ^.
May be ^^i'm very in my "value" exercices. Black and White Pawa!
A little "coloring" from a previous sketch. Work in progress
