Hey Bigus thanks! u can follow the progress on the painting here
its very very far from done
    http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=149415

anywayz,.. Obviously my colors with paint need to improve a whole (that and a lot more ) so i did a portrait for color practise.. i used to much white in the highlights as ussual, but i think the fleshtones came out kinda okey (except for the white)

the portrait itself was a failure but that doesnt really matter

yo joe! sorry i took so long to come around to here. really nice stuff you got here! your color work and painting is really great, so cheers! your figures, however, are pretty stiff. using your imagination, try to come up with different and dynamic poses that you don't use regularly to try and expand your horizon. i would suggest taking a good look at bridgman, reading it cover to cover...i think it can help with rhythm and stuff, and making your figures look less stiff. keep pluggin away man! nice portraits.

great stuff man, i think your colours are definitely very strong, a crit would be to take the experiences of observational drawings to your imaginative work...keep pushing it man!
