    Lightbulb I'm New =)

    Yo guys,

How's everyone, I hope all is well. Um, I decided to take on feed back of great artists from all around. I want to become better; I'll post some now and when I get home I will post alot more, Thanks. And by the way, the ps painting on bottom was my first time using the Wacom Tablet.

Hey again, these were practice with the tablet since its one of my first times, all colors and light sources were out of my head.

Nice sketches. But that's what they are, just sketches. If you'd like some critique, I think you should post finished pieces where people can spot your weaknesses and maybe tell you how you could improve something.

all colors and light sources were out of my head.
Even so, you should try to use believable colours and build up some contrast. The brownish one is good.

You can always disagree with what I'm saying, but I'm just speaking directly from my mind. Stating my thoughts. Or whatever.

Looking forward to sketches (and more ),

    Frans

Thanks for your comment Frans. I totally agree. As in for finished stuff, I got a lot more life drawing stuff and some anatomy drawings, because thats what I'm trying to focus on for improvement then I will move on to concepting. Due to the tightening of my time in college, I will try my best to post "sketches" and more feed back I get the more motivated I'll become to draw "final pieces"

And to be honest I'm the type of person who loves to receive harsh critiques just to improve, I humbly look forward to expanding this thread =) Thanks!

Great job, I know being an artist is a tough job but stick with it because its rewarding to be able to draw like some of the artist here on CA who have intence skills. This is what inspires me, to be able to create whatever I want and draw with my imagination.

Thanks Jay_Gunz, I'm a little happier to know someone has responded, and appreciate motivational talk
As for Hykuri I'm truly grAteful that you said I need improvement, this means a lot to me than most people on forum who come and say "Good" wow" and yea i know they are trying to be polite. But like I said I enjoy harsh critiques because I can push myself very hard to reach a goal. Because in the end, Improvement is worth it =)

I was gonna say "practice son anatomy" but then saw your anatomy studies.. which by the way are looking good! Are you going to some artschool or the like after college?

I might, really depends on how much extra time I wanna devout out of my life to get better. Because art school is like 3-4 more years.

I love your anatomy sketches, especially the last one with the shoulders and arms. You're (pardon the cliche) off to a great start, but posting your sketches in the first place seems to be the hardest part (for me anyway) I commend you on doing your absolute best and making a great first impression!

Nice studies man, I am taking a life drawing class this term, maybe we can help each other out as soon as I start a sketchbook. Anyways keep up the studies they really do help you with drawing the human figure. If you can, try to schedule a life drawing class when you get time. *subscribes*
