    Oh my gosh...Jake Shimibukuro is awesome. I heard him play on a radio station once. He played this and some fiery latin piece. I need to buy some of his CDs and learn his songs, since I'm a ukulele player myself. Need to start playing guitar, too. These damn talents just don't maintain themselves. Shit.

    That was awesome, watched bits of it with my mouth wide open. Even more impressive to me seeing as I got a ukulele for christmas and can barely tune the thing

    Find someone who knows how to play and have them teach you some stuff, monstertree. I find that that's the only way to get started on an instrument, for me at least.

    Yeah I have yet to find someone that lives around here who plays the ukulele, I live in a small English town you see, hard to find much of anything infact!

    I know this thread is mainly for Ukuleles, but it seems to be getting the theme of obscure instruments becoming famous so I thought I'd present these. I like instruments that have a personality of being humorous, enjoying, and can still be taken seriously. That's the vibe i'm getting anyway.
