Pretty good dude. I'm 14 myself.
Try to draw from life to get a better view of how light interacts with the objects. I know it's not as fun but it's helpful. Get yourself like a skull or something to play with and it will be a bit more interesting.

Dude do some self portraits. No one knows your face better than yourself so it's way easier than from your head. Do some portraits of celebrity's or who ever you're interested in.
BTW do I qualify for your list...

ya know I never realized you were 14, thats like the exact same way I used to draw when i was 14 haha I should show that sometime. Keep workin man, do some more studies, draw a lot of portraits and whatnot to better understand all that good stuff. Lets see it!

I'm 20 right now, but yea... you got 6 years! you better kick the hell outta me! I wasted most of my time not drawing for like 2 or 3 years, too busy skateboarding everyday and making movies haha.

i have skimmed through your SB i have see nevery picture..spent longer lookin at some than others, and have read the odd coment here and there the person i agree with most on this whole thread is mr.delicious ..

you need to get stronger colours down on your digi paints, get the strong colours down at a fairly high-mid leve opacity 60-80% and then work it over with lower opacity before you even think about details and visible stroke work, because on alot of your stuff i can see the strokes and they are very sketchy and light which make the colour appear alot weaker and translucent (fancy word for see through-ish ).

on your pencils, i think work a bit more on the line work before rendering sometimes the picture gets lost in grey and the lines are unclear and i get a blur lump of gray but the ones with good line work are ..well...good the robot/mecha suit guys you have done are good, but i think it would be better for you to steer clear of the post-apocalyptic steampunk sci-fi monster gun wielding manics for a while and do more of the studies you do from pictures and life becase its liley you will learn more usefull tricks from that than robot people

thats all realy, but there is for sure marked improvment form page 1-6

(i am 15..soon to be 16 so good to see other teenage artists on here rather than uber talented/have no more need for learning/professionals working in the industy guys ..heh)

Cool! Thanks for adding me to the list, it means a lot! I was expecting like, keep drawing and maybe you'll get there one day.
Dude you rock. In our age there aren't as many good artists as there should be. You're one of them though!

Mr Delicous: 6 years eh? I'll try man thanks for the encouragement.

Life on the sofa: Yeah I think I'm gonna focus more on pencils and stuff like that but your crit for digital is really helpful, thanks. Oh and yeah, all the robots an that kinda shit seem to be what I draw when I really don't feel like doing life stuff, which is quite a lot of the time, which is weird becuase whenever I do decide to do life drawings, well, I really enjoy them. Anyway thanks for the overall long crit I'll follow your advice best of possible (most of the time, maybe just a few robots haha).

Angus147258:Thanks. Oh and no problem about the list thing.
