supercool thread man. I have absolutely no Idea why I missed it till today. guess there's just too much going on in the sketchbook section!
Just one thing, which I noticed with your rendering. Maybe try to pay more attention on how different materials "feel". For example the way you render skin often just seems TOO perfect, making it look more like plastic rather than "real" skin. don't know maybe it's just me but I thought that I shouldn't leave this thread at least with ONE more or less constructive thought
You're doing awesome dude, keep Rocking, WOOT

Love it bro. I like seeing you tackle the weaknesses. It gives me the inspiration to push too.
I don't see the point in going in and criticizing because I know you will fix it anywayz and like you said you're trying to tackle your weaknesses.
I also really admire they way you took on hunchback's criticism, a lot of people would get up set with that, not saying what hunchback said was bull or anything but you took it extra well. Good on ya.

If you have time to go on msn it'd be cool, i'd like to talk to you a bit about focus and backgrounds in an image.

Take care and keep on working. Looking forward to seeing where each piece will go

Not long till college is over now dude, iknow how u feel about the pointless tasks you can get set at college and it really tickles my pickly why they cant focus on an individual more as for briefs in the certain area of work. Mainly they love to make you explore at least they do with my briefs lol. What you studying?

I hope to be the best i can be... nothing less

Really nice studies Miles, great stuff. I love Golucho, he is so crazy unbelievable, he should be much better known. That drawing you copied is one of my favorites of his. Good stuff.

Hey dude - Great to see you doing these studies! Really nice clean work and another thing ... your characters are finally starting to not look like different versions of you! lol ;P

Oh yeah another reason I've dropped by is to invite you to take part in the first of a new series of Dynamic Energy Challenges I'm running over in the Challenges section of CA (I've invited Sam too). Constructive crits and comments with each other's work is encouraged and the emphasis is on enjoying pushing the dynamism in your work.

Cheers dude and keep on rocking!

Man, your sketchbook is awesome. I'm on page 50 right now, and it's like every page is a weird mix of majorly inspirational and a huge kick up the ass. It's just amazing that you can get so good, so soon - proves that you just need to have the drive and the passion for it. I can't wait to see what else you come up with.
