Ok. That was some time without something new.
I am still pretty busy with projects but I hope I can do more color sketches, because I really need to improve my skills in "painting".
Here is a scaled down summary of what I was doing in the last weeks: (the originals are abou 1,50m high) For a study project in coop with a natural-history museum. Ita about bionic and I am working on a part about flying. One is still missing about the brothers Wright.
I worked way faster on this pieces than usual. Except for the one in the top right corner.
My problem is that I change the stile from piece to piece. I am not that good in painting realistic. The goal is to paint with more brushes and achieving a realistic detailed look without painting everything in detail. There are some great artists in here that can do that, but not me... yet. ;P
Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on Fu!

Nice lines in those sketches. On the old man, the hands are way too small though, and the claws of the vulture seem off in perspective. Change that, give him a little more air to breathe and its good to go. Maybe add a little shine to the feathers!
Thx, I really didnt see that one with the hands.
The vulture is already through a lot of chandes which I didnt post ^^ There is more room around hin and the feet are covered by an aeroplane (broth. wright)
Today I spent some time in a local museum and draw some animal figures.
Here is the best part: A polar wolf. Very interesting to look at all the different fur-length and how the fall.
The sketchbook is too big for the scanner so I made photos.
