Take a look at ImagineFX's workshops. A good one to start with might be Jason Chan's.

You might want to check out Corel Painter Official Magazine:

    http://www.paintermagazine.co.uk/index.php

Lot's of tutorials, howto's and Painter stuff for all levels. Read the mag, ask questions on the forum.

    Cheers

tutorials help, but as soon as you grasp the program you should simply practice to gain knowledge

I've always found that just playing around and experimenting is the best way for me to learn any software. And, that's even more fun if it is a program like Painter. Such fun to just slap paint here and there with an endless supply of brushes to work with. It's like playing in an art supply store without it costing anything and there's no clean up afterwards.

(Of course, should I run into trouble with something I don't understand, there's always the last resort - the dreaded manual.)

Good luck and above all, have fun!
