    which one?

    hi y'all,

    I recently hit the jackpot and now I'm thinking of buying a tablet/graphite, but i still poundering about which one. If you were me and you could choose which one would you choose and why?

    1- Cintiq 21UX LCD tablet (http://www.wacomshop.nl/product.html?ItemID=620)

    2- PL-720 LCD tablet
    (http://www.wacomshop.nl/product.html?ItemID=731)

    3- the Modbook
    (http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/ModBook)

    maybe this will help my descision.

    Contiq 21UX hands down. True 24bit color, 1024 pressure levels and a 21inch screen

    The PL-720 isnt a graphics tablet

    no comment on the mac's never seen them.

    Ah man that mod book looks so...tantalising. I think I want one. Great! for the firs time in a long time 'm getting greedy again I need (WANT) more money!

    512 levels of pressure isnt that noticeable right? I mean come on...

    For 3+ grand I would be expecting 1024 de facto from any tablet

    Do you have a decent computer already? How important is portability? I would say go for the cintiq, but if portability is a concern, then the modbook might be a nice choice. Personally, I just got a Toshiba R25 tabletPC. Even the 14" WXGA display is a little small for finished work, particularly in a display hogging application like Painter or Photoshop. However, if this is just a "digital sketchbook" then the modbook might be a nice choice.

    no it isnt
    havent won the lottery or something like that
    just worked hard and saved op the money
    for a descent tablet but cant make a choice
    tomorrow i will go to a store to check out the cintiq
    think that is the one
