firespinning pics are cool, and i like that one-eyed stripey creature, it has an interesting color combo and design, has much potential even as a sketch. also keep up the face studies!

cool styles, man. Love the painterly effects, and the subject matter. Nothin' beats figure studies, and bizarro creatures...

I like your work, especially your digital stuff. The first post with the horned guy with fangs and the one with the one-eyed, four-legged beast stand out in particular. Thanks for the comment in my sketchbook--I don't have open canvas so I can't sketch with you there unfortunately. The program sounds really cool, but I'm on a mac. I don't have many helpful crits to give, other than it sounds like you have the same problem I have with never finishing anything (lol). Anyway, I'll check back later for more updates. See ya.

I like the white bg better.

    Have you tried
    http://www.colorschemer.com/online.html

I don't know if relying on a software is best course for you now, but I learned from it and not using it anymore. Color is so bizarre for me to learn.

    Anyway happy digitals!

wow thanks for the replies, u guys are the reason ill be posting more from now on. today I thought Id do some characters, maybe an environment later.

As for the figures, when I get stuck on this one I will do some figure sketching, I PROMISE.

For Now the sketch for a character... I need to add more design elements to him.... and start the painting.

That portrait of your dad is fantastic - It has a great...feel.. to it! I can see some major progress being made in all your posts. Forgive my laziness for not reading all your posts as you may have already answered this... Are you in school now?

agreed, I think it would be good for you to pick up your sketchbook and draw more. lots more anatomy studies, keep doing your digital works, but keep a nice balance. keep up it up.
