    June Golden Boy Submission

Disclaimer: [that first study dump i posted(page 4) was NOT from this month, -i just posted it this month because i had just started posting here again, (tho they are all fairly recent)- I was a closet dagger, afraid to come out into the open...i probably appeared more golden than i actually was, so sorry! D:]

I actually got off to a late start this month so i was trying to play catch up... this stuff is more like the last 3 weeks...

Thanks to all the crimson daggers for keepin me goin! I really feel like I learned alot...hope all the months to come are this fun!

I think its all in the right order...

    SnobbyOo- Thanks!
surus- Thanks, maybe- not sure how big to make them before they are annoying lol....
agelaos- Haha,thanks- i thought u woulda won it! lol, ill try- but im already off to a late start- the camping trip was less than productive , cant wait to see what youve been up to!
    dblock- sure thing! thanks!
Metal Fingers- yeah the surfacing is hard for me! im trying to get more texture in ther now...
Phade01- Thanks!! you too man!!! hope to make it again ...
    midknight523- Thx!
    timdegro-Thanks!
Fetsch- Yeah hopefully i can,I need to balance my schedule more for concept & imagination, but i was trying to raise my technical skill a little bit...i really need to apply my studies more!
I have a day job, so its hard to make extra time for art, I will have to cut into study time to work more on personal stuff... But i know i gotta do it- hopefully one day I can draw all day long!

    Back from vacation!
Just got back from a week long camping trip with the family, i was having technolgy and painting withdrawals-, i tried to do some stuff, but it was almost impossible to be productive, couldn't really find time for myself .... but time to get back to normal!

Studies, tryhing to practice skin textures/wrinkles...dint go to well!
and a beast I started from imagination...

    Wonderful studies!
Your still life have such nice natural lighting sense, and your figures are a joy to look at. Nice linework on them.

This past weeks COW, wanted to spend a little more time on it- woulda posted it earlier but i had planned to comeback to it when i had extra time and resolve a few parts or add a ground plane/shadow, but i think im going to just move on to the next COW instead...

    Concept: Skull-Crabby
In this post apocalyptic-world the skull-crabs have mutated out of human remains...because of radiation. They can be quite nasty pests, but a few children have managed to tame them as pets cause cats and dogs are extremely rare...

Dude, there is just too much awesome! Great studies, and great creature designs!!
Art is not about competing against others and being better than everyone else, but it is about competing against yourself and discovering your greatest potential!
