thx to JAG for the topic idea.

    ADDITIONAL INFO
    - The concept must be based on the term "Silver Tooth"
    - Silver Tooth means the metal silver and the tooth is what humans and animals have in their mouth (you force me to describe this primitive things )
    - no individual characters, create a species

That's an awesome topic. I keep thinking "Silver Tooth Tiger."... I'll try to muster something that isn't so pun-based.

Very interesting, silver as in the metal is going to be fun with a living species. Starting to think of something along the lines of a living metal creature...or a species who all have great dentistry plans.

Kohajs are large carnivores that are very strong and rapid. They are also known as the Silver Tooth because of the small debris of silver stuck in their cavernous teeths. They have the habit of chewing the mountain rocks (highly dense with silver) after they eat in order to clean their disorganized rows of teeth from the meat. The Silver tooth eats rabbits, goats and even bears when it hunts in packs.

I should get back into this, I missed it last week.

Hmmm silver tooth...makes me think of werewolves somehow

Edit: First sketches, I'm back at my old habit of first trying to find a pseudo-scientific explanation for a creature having silver teeth and only then starting to sketch, which is not always the best way to do this . The basic idea here is that it lives on the salt flats, and as a protection against the sun has evolved some kind of giant polaroid sunglass thing (which will get darker the more UV light hits it, those things use silverchloride - a kind of salt) on the back of its head The silver in/on its teeth is actually a byproduct much like some chemicals which find their way through the body and end up in the nails and teeth. Blah.

    Argyridents

Argyridents patrol and guard the entrances to the rich silver mines of the Blue Dwarves of Kimmolidjn. Swift, strong and highly agressive, few looters get past thier silver toothed maws and razor sharp claws. The Blue Dwarves use the Argyridents as steeds in battle, and Argyrident pups are prized as pets by the most affluent dwarf houses. Argyridents are especially good with children and fiercely loyal to the charges they protect.

Do I win if I make a gold-tooth? Silver's second place, right? Vampire/Werewolf-killers is a natural take on this topic, I guess... entered my mind as well. Perhaps I'll even stick to it... if I enter... some small creature loadable in a vampire-hunters cross-bow maybe..

Really nice sense of motion in those three upper sketches, Jakkas!

    C.O.W. #85 Silver Tooth
A Recently discovered occult book dating from the early middle ages in what is now Hungary sheds some dubious truth to the legends of werewolves. In one particularly unwholesome passage it tells of a several hundred year plague of lycanthropy, a highly infectious disease of the blood which transforms humans into vicious murdering beasts under the light of the moon. Further, it tells of the eventual destruction of the werewolves and the eradication of the dreaded disease. The Silver Tooth was a species bred over many decades by the Monks of Aventur to combat the terror of werewolves. From the description it appears Silver Toothes stood 12 to 15 feet tall and had four powerfull apelike arms ending in prehensile paws to grasp their prey. Their namesake was their silver teeth with which they destroyed the vast population of werewolves. The monks kept their breeding methods secret but it is clear to scientists that the Silver Toothes themselves had lycanthropy in their blood and seem to be a mix of ape and wolf themselves. Bred only to attack and eat werewolves, the Silver Toothes eventually died out once their food supply was exhausted. One final passage hints of a hidden tomb where the Monks laid to rest the last of their creations. Scientists hope to discover this tomb and trace the genome of these creatures.

dunno what you mean with wearing, but it must have 1 or more silver teeth as a part of its anatomy.

Does the tooth have to be made of the metal silver? Or can it be a regular tooth with a silvery look to it?
