    They found it in a mine, I'm pretty sure they were around some while it was in the dark. And it glows pink under blacklights! It's actually rave-rock.

    Well, if I remember correctly there was always a mineral named kryptonite or at least Krytpon is a mineral I know that for sure. Kr 36

    Proof that Kryptonite always existed.

    Big difference between the two as far as I have it. Krypton is an element and a gas in its natural state. Kryptonite is made up of various elements and is a a solid at room temperature. Huge difference in the chemical properties, despite the similarities in the name.
