    Very exciting sketchbook you
have here. It excites me to
    draw. Thank you for sharing
    it with us!!

    The anatomy studies are from
    Bridgman or just online reference
    images?

On the first two pages of this last post - did you have reference for the sitting woman and the arms that you sketched? Or do you do that out of your mind? I'd love to know if you use ref for a lot - which I would hope since your proportions look so natural and awesome. Just curious. Really enjoy your pencil sketch books and have no crits at all.

(sorry, just realized you answer the general reference question in post 64. I'll leave my post mostly unaltered, though, cuz I'm still curious about the sitting woman in particular)

the Zeppelin didn't get into Exposé so I'm gonna have to consider whether I'd like to eat or buy the book. I spent the last of my money for this month on Banksy's book and a book full of soviet posters. Then I called my mom and asked her for some money and bought that book on Kristjan and Paul Raud. So many books to buy, so little money.
I've been doing self portraits and general portraiture studies, but they're absolutely terrible. I've always been horrible at portraits. Somebody give me tips on how to capture character.

    Rax: seesama kinnas jah.

MattGamer: those anatomy studies were from some medical slides, not sure who the artist was.

snubbed: yeah that one was life drawing. fast fire poses, 5-10 minutes each, the following pages also feature some from that class
