Really digging your pencils dude! Even the damn anatomy studies make my eyes pop .

That last cafe drawing is great, although the table perspective seems a little off. Not sure if that's a stylistic choice or what. The color in it is pretty sweet

Flaskpost: Coming right up! I'm on academic vacation but that doesn't stop me from sneaking into life drawing every now and then : )

archipelago & Miles_: Thanks! Jup, that one is a quick self portrait. A favorite pastime of artists everywhere, harassing people in cafes

DanielC: Yes! I'll catch you on msn some time

Chagan: I just quickly eyeballed them in, gotta do more rigid perspective studies to get the improvisational thing smoother

So! I have a problem! I'm currently exiled in Tartu, away from my beautiful sort-of-calibrated 21'' CRT monitor and scanner (hence no pencils for a while). I've been working on this with a laptop with a seriously funky lcd monitor so it looks sort of different at different hours. A friend of mine just commented on the standing bloke, that the shadow is way too light resulting in a sort of a hazy feel. Looks okay here but with my current setup I cannot be sure. So! how do you guys see it?
Also, floating petals - way overkill and cheesy or sort of cute and dynamic?

I like the floating pettles, not extremely noticable so it doesn't take away from anything. The sitting man looks very nice, as does the standing. Keep it up!

Hey kinnas, i really dig your work, especially the amount of value you're able to get in your sketchbook. Let me ask you, i've tried that kind of stuff with just the sketchbooks i have lieing around but none of them seem to be able to hold graphite, what kind of paper is in your sketchbook?
