Its' free and it takes less than 10 seconds!
Here's some stuff I've been working on in my free time. Mostly pencil with digital coloring, but the last one is ballpoint. It's a bit of a throwback to an early style of mine but I'm pleased with it anyhow. Going to try and keep this thread regularly updated with new mechanical/environmental/vehicle concepts.
Edit: Added a big ol' defense laser on the 24th of April.

I like them. Especially the light powersuit.Looks like scrap material put toghether, the truck exaust muffler is a nice touch. Good job.
I especially like the ophiel, could imagine it being quite agile.
Where do you get your inspiration, any mech designs you like? Gundam, ma.k etc?
-- great articulations and linework my friend, i'd love to see more

Thank you. The Ophiel was an outgrowth of some concepts I did for a freelance project that lent itself to a modular approach. The art direction went another way on that, but I found the modular approach interesting so I followed up on it. This would be the lightest member of the family, but would have upgraded armor and weapons able to be bolted on to it. A little like Ghouls and Ghosts with mechs. XD
MaK is a very big inspiration, as are the real machines those machines draw upon. I find myself regularly looking at armor and aircraft models for ideas on details and wear. I figure, why reinvent the wheel?
Great stuff, I like the combo of treads and "feet" in particular.
I too would like to see more, the mechs are killer. Although I wasn't sure about how the first mech was actually standing.
Great Original Designs! I'm impressed.
Transition from Art Critic to Artiste - Diligence, that's all I need.
Thanks guys, I'll keep this thread updated with new material as often as I can. I'm anxious to revisit the legs + treads thing in the future, and will take more care with composition then.
Some great work there sir!
I really love your Full-track Half Track (last pic). Very WWII and I can especially see the SdKfx 250/9 inspiration - the perspective's a little off on some of the road wheels but otherwise a great pic and idea!
Cool stuff, this is more of the kind of things I am into. =)
Thanks guyes. I'm going to fix the perspective on that one piece, or maybe do a new version. In the meantime I did some new stuff:
