    Hi,

Here are paintings I did from life in watercolor. Mostly my wife or me and one from life class. Some self portraits are in mirrors some with help of camera (the one I am working).

    Thanks for looking

    Solon - Great work.

How do you guys feel about painting from secondary sources, like photographs?

Im constantly told how important life drawing and painting is, but rarely have any opportunity to draw in a well lit and interesting environment. Do you guys think its acceptable?

Stephen - beautiful! would love to see a better quality pic of that one.. doesnt look like the jpeg compression is doing it much justice

Today I went to a life drawing workshop, it was the first time I ever used my tablet pc for a single 3-hr pose session.. I used a variety of programs to get to the point of where it looks pretty dang close to one of my oil paintings in the same amount of time..
