Hi, it's lots of fun going through your sketchbook! You made some great progress in figure drawing. Some great animal studies too! Keep going!

This had some fantastic neon highlighter colors around his head & on his glasses but my scanner just refused to show it, no matter how much i adjusted the brightness or contrast. Sad. D:

That is really well done, excellent shading, you're improving so keep hacking at it. I like the original b/w sketch better than the colored collage you posted after that sketch but that's just personal taste.

This one also looks good but make sure to draw the entire head first before you put hair on it. Right now I think the upper part of the skull should buldge out a bit and not blow away with the hair hehe. Also the neck looks strange, it may not be wrong but we don't have enough of a reference to really tell what's going on with the rest of the body. Anyways, I'm preaching about the same mistakes I make all the time... but don't do as I do!

    David: Hey thaaaaanks

n1va: Thanks a ton! Yeah, I'm not so sure how much I like that girl with the tissue paper added to it. I just really loved that tissue paper & thought it was hilarious so I had to use it somehow! Yeah I agree that the neck looked weird. I wasn't really thinking about making it look real when I was doing it, kinda just drawing for the sake of drawing.

But yeah anyway, here's some recent stuff that I didn't dislike. I could have uploaded this stuff awhile ago, I donno, just chose not to.

    Present for David hahah:

Needs fixing. I really want to fix this because I like how I did the background a lot.

    Had some flower stickers:

& three watercolors from today. As good as I started off with watercolors, I am really starting to hate them. I want to layer and blend so bad, I just wind up making things look dirty and uneven. Might try out some acrylics. Dont know if I have the patience for oils.

Woo, go watercolors! Those skies you do look really pretty, like pretty much all of em. I also enjoy me staring at the wolf, becoming one with eachother. I wanna see you work in other paiints, likeeeee acrylics and oils and egg shit.

    keep on trucckin

I agree that the rendering on that goggle portrait was a step up, looked really nice.

Anyways, Shark Week is this week, it started today, if you want to watch. I am. =)

More cutesy-pootsy eh. Little girl with goggles as everyone said is showing improvement in your stuffs. Really like the twiggy watercoloury pic. Though your rendering is nice, remember to nail the placement first; friend John's nose is a wee bit off, and his eye looks like it might be floating away.
