Four pages!! Not as exciting now since each page is about half the size as it was before. Oh well.
Dave= Thanks love! I'm trying not to. =)
Pirahna Clan= Not as busy as I should be! I could be doing much much more. I do love watercolors, although its a little more of a ordeal to set up than it is just to grab a pencil and start drawing. But I do like it a lot.
Windmaker= Thanks duuude, I will!
Dan= Hahah, I'm definitely gonna make some more animal babes soon. I'm thinkin, panda babes. Maybe koala babes. Who knows!
Gringoloco= Thank youuu! Maybe I will. I dont know...hmm
I bought me a book on watercolors! Its pretty great. I've learned a lottt so far. I've mostly been practicing brush strokes, washes, etc. Not anything really exciting to look at.
Except I did do this SHARK!
Gonna paint me some landscapes tonight, skies mostly. Mine need work.
I'm gonna draw her a friend. angry tiger girl, possibly.
& a tshirt idea for one of my friends:
Gonna go on a light/baby blue tshirt. I like it. I'd wear it. Would you?

nice shirt design and SHARK! SHARK WEEK! I hope thats why you painted it. But even if thats not the reason its still sweeeeet. I like the panda babe and panda love. You should wear that panda make up for me
Shark Week is an awesome week on the Discovery Channel where every show is about nothing but sharks. I LOVE IT
It's soooo great
The shark you did paint was very nice, I liked that the most out of all the stuff on this page. The last ones are interesting, definitely a different style. I'm sure they could be great simple pieces if the darks were pushed really far, lights brightened, etc.
There's so much cuteness to be had in here my manliness comes into question each time I visit. But there's a hot cow chick in here, so it all balances out.
Watercolours are looking good, ever think of taking more time on one particular one and really getting into some detail? I don't know watercolours from my own ass so I don't quite know what to suggest, but I've seen people use gauche (?) for details and it always adds more 'punch' to it.
Dave= The more I look at those sky paintings, the more I hate them & the more I just wanna burn them or just take them off here. Theyre pretty awful.
drd= WHAT! for real? that sounds awesome. I need to get on that and watch tons of sharks. whale sharks & hammerheads Yeah I probably could have gone further with those but it was half frustration of not getting it right and half me being too tired to want to really paint.
Rhineville= hahah, everyone can use a little more cute in their life, i think! Yeah I read a lot about gouache in the books I got, but I went to go look for it at Michaels, where I work, & we didn't have any! Some kinda craft store we are.
Got called into work when I was still in my pjs, so I didn't get to draw/paint what I wanted to tonight. Here's the lines for one drawing, gonna try and shade it before work tomorrow. Hopefully.
That is really well done, excellent shading, you're improving so keep hacking at it. I like the original b/w sketch better than the colored collage you posted after that sketch but that's just personal taste.
This one also looks good but make sure to draw the entire head first before you put hair on it. Right now I think the upper part of the skull should buldge out a bit and not blow away with the hair hehe. Also the neck looks strange, it may not be wrong but we don't have enough of a reference to really tell what's going on with the rest of the body. Anyways, I'm preaching about the same mistakes I make all the time... but don't do as I do!
n1va: Thanks a ton! Yeah, I'm not so sure how much I like that girl with the tissue paper added to it. I just really loved that tissue paper & thought it was hilarious so I had to use it somehow! Yeah I agree that the neck looked weird. I wasn't really thinking about making it look real when I was doing it, kinda just drawing for the sake of drawing.
But yeah anyway, here's some recent stuff that I didn't dislike. I could have uploaded this stuff awhile ago, I donno, just chose not to.
Present for David hahah:
His eye looks a little close to his head? Whatd you guys think
Needs fixing. I really want to fix this because I like how I did the background a lot.
Had some flower stickers:
& three watercolors from today. As good as I started off with watercolors, I am really starting to hate them. I want to layer and blend so bad, I just wind up making things look dirty and uneven. Might try out some acrylics. Dont know if I have the patience for oils.
Woo, go watercolors! Those skies you do look really pretty, like pretty much all of em. I also enjoy me staring at the wolf, becoming one with eachother. I wanna see you work in other paiints, likeeeee acrylics and oils and egg shit.
More cutesy-pootsy eh. Little girl with goggles as everyone said is showing improvement in your stuffs. Really like the twiggy watercoloury pic. Though your rendering is nice, remember to nail the placement first; friend John's nose is a wee bit off, and his eye looks like it might be floating away.
Your drawings have really improved since you've been posting. your rendering skills have improved, and I love your creative mind, very fresh and unique, keep posting please, your work has a unique energy to it.
Holy mother of the ultimate non-button noses: Sorry John
Seriously though, those portrait studies are very good. You're also very brave to cut up your works and collage them the way you did earlier on this page. I would never get the balls to do something like that.
I have to tell you something very important now as this might save your life at some point. Pandas may look cute, they might look slow and clumbsy - they are NOT. They're evil little fiends and the only reason why most people think otherwise is because they're constrantly high on Eucalyptus (sp?) Watch out for these evil fuggers.
