    Traditional Painting

    hi there,
    im really a noob in oil painting this is the 3th painting i startet - 30x40 cm
    i think that this will need some more hours to work on - so would really like to get some tips and critiques helping me how to work on

    did u gesso the surface? the canvas texture is really poppin thru, not that that's a bad thing, i'd jus try gessoing it up first, cuz it's definately a different feeling.

    anyways, think about atmospheric perspective.
    less saturation the farther it gets, and the darks also get less intense. that dark hole in the structure keeps on grabbing my eye.
    sumthing about the spacing of everything jus seems really even and orderly. maybe more overlap in different places, and maybe sumthing in the extreme foreground.

    hehe thanks for your help - the canvas texture seems that hard because of i had to sharpen the image a little bit (phoitoshop) to adjust the lack of sharpness of the photo i did
