You have good line work, but I have to say it does not really look like a ninja turtle. His chest area is supposed to be covered with a shell texture, but you simply gave him human abs, with an outline of where the shell part is supposed to be. Also, you can't really see his backside shell. Ninja turtles don't have nostrils either, and it makes him look too human because of that.

i like it! it's very new and interesting, and unique concept to the ninja turtles. I like how you textured him almost everywhere, very awesome. I also like the asymmetries like his eye size, and his fingers etc....the only thing i can really complain about is the mask around his eyes. The texture is making it read like he's got a coat of play dough or puddy around his eyes as opposed to some sort of cloth. Otherwise i think it's solid. =)

    Good work on this.
Although, I'm gonna have to go ahead and say that I'm not a fan of works that try to render the Turtles realistically.
    Great stuff nonetheless.

Hmm, for me, i think that the shoulder is to low and his torso is to small. Besides that, his neck is to long.

Other than that, is a good work.

i do really like realistic ninja turtles artwork, i guess thats the whole point of redesign, setting the turtles (or any character0 in reality allows your mind to wander. i love the tattoos, i like the whole look. the TMNT comics were always about alienation, the outcast, you have captured that. i think you have shown alot of sincerity in his face as well. very well drawn. id like to see more, maybe all four of the brothers?

    Love your turtles!
Such a great change from the boring cartoony turtles that now plague the movie theatres

Wow, I really like this type of turtles! Great!

i love em. there's really enough cross between human and turtle that would work for a mutant. tattoos and other additions also work perfectly.
can't wait for the next ones. I'd just make the lips on leonardo more man's lips.
edit: admittedly, raphael seems more thought out. chest area and the cloth on the head are more convincing.
