    Dan's Sketchbook...

kk well ive attatched way too many images i think but ah well, its a collection of loads of my old dragonball z drawings, then some of my Alevel work, then some digital painting that ive done recently, im still new to it all so its quite bad lol...

hopefully over the next few months or so ill be adding loads more recent artwork of mine

Edit: images turned out WAY to big so i had to resize...

i looked at that painting i did of my friend ^^ and i didn't really like the face much. so i redrew it and repainted the face only and gave her random purple hair ... i think the face looks much better in my opinion.

    Hey dude.
I like what you did with the tennis player. Really cool.

You would benefit greatly from doing more of the painting/figure studies, than copying images like Dragonball Z.

    Keep on drawing.

Your drawings from pictures are really nice. But my favorite has to be of (your head?) facing all different directions.
One crit would be... try not to outline the shadows so much. & in your figure drawings, dont sketch over the line again and again trying to find the right line, instead try looking at your subject carefully & making one nice clean line. & if its a bit off, erase and try again.

cheers for comments... those figure drawings were purposely done really quickly and roughly. i had an interview at Bournemouth University for Animation, and i had to do a speed life drawing test when i was there. so i practiced before. i need to get myself a tablet again.

Optimus F*kin' Prime...YES. The TRUE Prime, not that steaming pile of monkey dung coming out in July...(WTF, Michael Bay? )...

I like the studies done from photos and the WWII fighter plane pop-art. You're moving in a good direction, keep at it.
