    * Daroy's Sketchbook *

    Hello!

    My name is Roy, I live in the Netherlands, in Almere, close to Amsterdam. I am 14 years old, and I like to draw. I googled 'concept artist' (because that looked like a great job for me) and I found this awesome site. I grabbed my old pencil again and I started to join in Seedlings famous assignments. Then I discovered the Daily Sketch Group, which I like to join everyday but I don't always have time.

    This is my little sketchbook, and I hope you want to leave a comment.
    Feel free to post critique!
    I will also post some rough sketches here, so it's not all finished stuff.

    Hope you enjoy!

    Robot

    Here is a robot I made just to practice colouring and shading. Tell me what you think!

    I like to draw animals, and I think it's quite easy. Here's a lion I made a while ago, I used a step-by-step guide.

    Might post the finished piece with the bee and the deer as well.

    I'd suggest to do more drawings from life for a strong foundation.
    If there is one thing I wish I picked up earlier, it would be life drawing.
    But keep picking up that pencil/pen/mouse/tablet/etc. and keep going

    Hey, thanks for commenting on my sketchbook.

    You seem to have a very fun kind of style. Keep it up... and listen to these guys. I know I should.
