these are all really gorgeous. I especially like the second, a lot of great hinted detail.

lovely work man. You seem to be playing with focus in a very lovely way, but I would get some more focus points clarified. My fave is the second one (and 3rd): if her face was slightely sharpened, I'd say perfect. Please post more, great work -

Really nice colours! Perhaps you should sharpen some of the edges.

Nice work! I agree with mr visions, some sharper edges could really make these peices stand out a whole lot more. some things look a bit to soft. 2nd is my fave. It would be nice to see you take that one further. Suhweet stuff!

hey mate, great job, I like number 2 and 4 starting from top the most. The other pictures are good too but the contrasts have been pushed abit too far for my taste. Good study as well

    These are super!

I am going to agree with Troll though on the edges. some of them are a bit too soft.

great stuff though none the less.

Thanks a bunch for the comments and crits. I guess sharpening some edges, especially in focal areas will be an important thing to watch out for. As for contrast, I've been conciously pushing it recenlty. Perhaps a bit much. I would like to experiment with different ranges of value as well.

fantastic painting, thanks for sharing! 2nd one down is my favorite. incidentally what program do you prefer to use? I'd love to see some process stuff for that 2nd one if you've got it. Any way very excellent work and props on doing art after work, keep it up!

    Steps

Thanks again guys. Yes Tydal, that was my homage to WOW. Clandestine_IX, I like photoshop only because I'm more familiar with it, but recenlty, I can't work without adding at least some Painter into the mix, especially after realizing how important brush marks were. Anyways, here's some process steps. There's quite a jump between 3 and 4. I guess I was feeling inspired.

I adore them. Especially the "army-girl".

Did you ever post the first picture somewhere? As wallpaper or character art maybe? I got this feeling I saw it somewhere, but I can't put my finger on it...
