young paddy1- my art isn't actually what I got supersized, it was my already huge sweaty dong!
steve pete- thanks dude... I still got a loooong way to go before i can be beyond critique (and even then there are always going to be people who hate my stuff for one reason or another) cheers
Victor B- thanks man... if it left you speachless, how did you respond? <-bad joke
tensai-Thank bro... If your still hundry I can make you a tensai and mike sandwhich if you want ; )_
rossa- glad you liked
selfu- hey dude glad you like... no problem, I'll drop by
Kvick-hey no problem man... glad I could help you out : )
Kidult- and I'll add this in response
Nam- yeah I was going for a wampa/abominable snowman kind of vibe.
windlee-thanks man... No i didn't go to Tibet but it does kind of look like a yeti if thats what your implying.
Piranha Clan-glad you like my pencils. funny thing... I feel like I'm stronger digitally than I am with pencils (my friends agree) but I noticed several people through this book commenting on my pencils being better. I'm assuming it's my pencil renders that people like and not my sketches (cause my sketches suuuuuck).
Callops- thanks! I love you! er, wait...
Exquisite Beast- thanks man. I'm glad my td image perhaps made you nauseous. : )
yutani- thanks alot man.
snubbed-thanks dude. most would say 12 oclock is too early but I like to get to the point and skip the fore play : )
victor B-book covers? definitely! I'd love to do illustration work on the side and concept art full time personally. I really enjoy putting fully fleshed illustrations together.
I wanted to see a flaming bag of dog dookie, and i found the guy from my anatomy class who did the kickass skeletal studies! Oh man, that was a year ago...
Your work's awesome man, it just keeps getting better and better! I think you were the one who talked about this site with me? I'm not sure, but anyway, i'm here, and too enthralled with it to post anything of my own. Haha.
I really love your designs. They're strong, even as silhouettes, and you've put loads of detail into them. Keep posting!

All this talk about cock and balls is really getting to my head. I am going to go watch superbad again "I'd just sit there hours on end drawing dicks. I didn't know what it was. I couldn't touch the pen to the paper without drawing the shape of a penis." haha. Shit man loving you new work, it's a big step up. I was wondering when it comes to the technical side of machinery or objects do you know how they work or is this just a presumption and you just go with what ever looks "good" This dish moves up and down and swivels most do it looks if it where to do that it would hit the building. Hmm! Keep on rocking the hot moist anal drippings.
the ellipse is off...jk. Hey Mike, hot shit you're doing. On the last one, the highlights in the foreground water look to be about the same value as the highlights on the bank, making the water almost read like dirt, not really reflective. How'd your GF enjoy the taste of that ear? Do you wear a scarf now like Van Gogh?
Hey dude, Freaking killer stuff in here! Such a progression from page one to current. We ate some fish at anthonies fish bar at the workshop, just thought I'd say hi, and say your stuff is lookin' pretty awesome!
Well what to say without glorifying you... this is one of few sb threads that i have been compelled to look at every photo to see what it brings.. The imagination... shiiii! The picture that stood the most out for me (it just is a liiiiiiittle better than the rest) is the man-chomping train monster on page 4 and some other pages.... it is just so pretty.! anyway.. 5 stars from me and i will be seeing everything you post from now on mate >)mwhahah!
aph- yeh I kind of wanted it to have a two tone-ish feel between the ground plane and the sky for a more graphic seperation
Exquisite Beast - thanks
seth1 - thanks man... as far as my mechanical design (which should'nt be admired!) I just figure that everything should look like it should function while conciuosly trying to make it aesthetically pleasing. Basically the more functional it looks and the more time you put into making it read in the style you want (steampunk, starwarsy, manga mech or someshite) should equate to it looking really cool.
paac - sheeeet man... you the one blowin up!
blue severin - thanks dude.... yeah I got that comment before. I agree : ) no scarf neede. I got my ear surgically re-attched
