DSG 1226: Sci-Fi: PECULIAR MECH W/ RABBIT-LIKE ASPECTS IS KNOWN AS "THE EASTER BUNNY"

[ For the sake of clarity: "Mecha" are large, limbed, robot-like machines that are piloted by someone inside of them. ]

[ For the sake of clarity: "The Easter Bunny" is the fabled rabbit that, on Easter morning, hides colourfully-decorated hard-boiled eggs and small baskets filled with traditional Easter candy, for children to find, devour, and go insane from. ]

[ Pick, choose, and interpret-at-will which of these qualities are echoed in your mech. ]

Okay well i took mine and went with it being an odd mech that has a few rabbit like aspects so that someone might have named it the easy bunny. I didnt want to do the norm and make a mech easter bunny haha.

I almost made him pooping on planets instead of just pooping them.

First sketch for me... figured I have been looking at the site enough - I should start participating. *chuckles* This one took me about a hour to do, including the brainstorm.

This one was fun... I sketched something far more serious, loaded the wrong copy of photoshop that was set to my old brushes, and went nuts with it.

My first time ever posting a drawing on CA, little hesitant...
Well this is my mech, i rarely draw mechs, or robots at all, the last time was probably in middle school? uh its a little unfinished but i thought i leave it that way, didnt want to spend too much time on a sketch.
    Happy easter Bunny Robot day!

Cool entries everyone! I especially like daveneale's concept. So simple, yet it feels so real and ALIVE! It would be fun to animate.

Mine might be a little too predictable in the originality department...

Sunny: great design, are those bunnyears on top?.
Kadious: cool mercedes/playboy-bunny, and the grassbrush is usefull afterall.
Telka: nice idea pooping eggplanets but you took away the most logical place for the rocket.
Daveneal: sweet design, inviting bed hm resistance is futile i know.
Tmyohliang:interesting pose and use of brushes, maybe it could use an extra color.
Bad luck:this one isn't laying eggs for the children, i think he vaporises them (the children). Going wild with brushes can be fun and also lead to a unexpected outcom like yours does.
Jeteffects: WOW, awesome man. Don't know why you should hesitate. Pitty it's not finished yet.
Bismod: very stylish, maybe you could give it some harder edges, it looks a bit blurry now. But nevertheless sleek bunny.
Knight vision: looks good and very pink, I suppose the guns are for shooting eggs (hardboiled?).
Dagreengo: great point of view, the perspective needs some attention though.
    Ios: lol FUNNYBUNNY.

huh. ya learn sumthin' new every day.

    sunny, thanks!
    daroy, you too!

I'm a little irritated that I made the bunny mech's eye's face forward. maybe I'll redo that part. bunnies have eyes that face (mostly) perpendicular to the line of their noses, so they can see 360 degrees. grrr.
