    Andrew Loomis books download.

    Hey guys. For those who still are looking to get those very handy and golden books. You can find it here. Go to the torrent link at the bottom of the page posted by Bj0ern. Open it and download it. You may have to click back and forth between options to get it to download. What I did is go to the Open with slot and changed the bittorrent default to other which pops up the screen to save junk and canceled it to get the Ok icon to be clickable. Then I chose Save to Disk and then pressed OK. But, I am doing this through Firefox web Browser.( I got tired of internet explorer.) So It may be different for you guys and gals possibly. One I have did this I went to go Bittorrent Software to get sucker open. You use that Software to download this file because, of course,there is anything else that can read the file extension .torrent; and Presto you have your Pdf files. There are 6 books of greatness at your disposal. I though that this would be a useful post if no other threads have them here or it is hard to get a hold of other files. All for everyone to better their work. I thought I should share with this community. Well folks enjoy! Holla!

    P.S. Get your hands on these quick, before this disappears forever. It took me ages to get these pdfs. Good luck all.

    Hey, I'm trying to teach myself to become a better artist, which of the Loomis books is good to start with? I've read a bit of Figure Drawing for all it's Worth and I'm liking it so far, I already learned quite a bit just by reading and looking at his examples.

    Thanks!

    They're all good.

    Read them all, emphasis on read though, it's easy to get distracted by the sexy drawings and paintings and miss the point entirely..

    I think, more importantly, you must draw. Kinda use what he is saying merely as guidelines. When your confident enough with what you do experiment with different ideas, come up with your own ideation, build off of these books. These books give you great insight to control what you are doing and practice that control. I am glad that you guys are finding my and especially sciboy's link useful. Happy studying and draw, draw, draw! Paint too! XD

    It doesn't work for me at all. I open up the file and it tells me to select the coding language to make it readable. I have no idea which one to choose, and whichever one I DO choose, it comes up with nothing more than half a page of gobbledygook. Help? xD;

    Sorry in advance for any stupid or obvious questions I may ask! xD;

    Mokipoki-Did you try to open Sciboy's link at all? You can get them easy with his link. Mines is a bit of a process. If you were trying to download mines you would have to get a Bittorrent software which is free to download. Use that to get the files. Which should be pdfs, if I remember correctly. Let me know if your still having issues. Again, I went through foxfire's explorer, not through internet explorer. (I kinda like Foxfire better as an explorer.) Holla! XD

    Beelow - I realise my problem now! I didn't even have Adobe reader installed. Stupid me.

    And now I can't print the darn thing off or send it to my dad as it's too big. Oh well! xD Thanks very much for the links anyway.

    Sorry in advance for any stupid or obvious questions I may ask! xD;

    Mokipoki-Sorry for the late response. Download Adobe reader, to get them. Do you have a Computer of your own? I strongly suggest you get these downloaded, so you can learn some things that you would never think to do in your work. Just read them through, find a way to read these; it's well worth it!

    Very handful thread. I had heard of the Loomis books like sacred relics, that they are the best of their kind. I will definitely check them out, thanks for the links mates.

    Yeah it suck that the loomis family don't want to do a re-edition of his book, I think all the human kind deserve to have his book. I had to download them as well but if they ever chose to re-edit them, i'll sleep outside the library to be the first to have it=)

    Loomis is genious!
