Looking good! Nice batch of studies and sketches in general. I particularly like the Evil Hatter. The shot of him the apple is great!
The T-shirt designs are also pretty nice. Good job on them!
Nothing specific to crit. Just go on with the studies and keep making progress

Hey atlantik! Some nice stuff here!
I love this one http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...7&d=1205186309
The little evil animals of the forest are excellent! Maybe you could color them? They remind me a Southpark episode, when Cartman write a Christmas story...
The poses are so cool i like how you did them with just the right lines ,the animals are cool, the hands are cool. Its all good .
Keep progresing .

with the watercolor from back in december, remember to look for colors in the shadows. It's especially important in watercolor when using the same color, only more strongly, in the shadows can end up increasing the intensity/chroma and drawing unwanted attention to that area.
I love all the studies (so many!) and I think you did a great job with the pastels. The texture and color diversity on the birds nest really works.
cool shirts btw - very cool
the evil hatter is rather badass. I could be wrong about it, but you might want to force yourself to do more 3/4 portrait views. i see a tendency to stick to face-forward and pure profile drawings.
good call on changing the panda's background. you have a good eye for what works.
as always, keep it up!
You're getting better and better! I really like the quick figure sketches.
Just keep doing your studies!
My advice is to also study the skeletal structure a bit. That way you'll learn to avoid mistakes like on the woman's face in the last picture you posted. Her skull looks like it's shattered now. Notice how the nose doesn't start right next to the eye as you've painted it. Actually in most people the bridge of the nose (the part between the eyes) is the narrowest part of it. Look how you've put a shadow between the left eye (our right) and the nose. You should do the same for the other eye. Also her right cheek looks way too flat and pushed too far back. Again, you've made it better at the other side
Do a couple of skull studies to gain a better understanding of the underlying forms of the face. It'll really help.
Good luck! And have fun
Quinn Simoes - Thanks dude,I will!
ohomoho - thank you!
Craig Houghton - hey buddy long time no see you around, glad you like my t-shirts and my other things, glad to see you here again!Keep coming!
Windmaker - hey druje hope you like the next ones
Maidith - thank you too, glad to see you posting in my sb,I'm not lazy but I haven't enough free time for drawing that is very very sad for me
Hi. Nice studies you got there. Your progress looks promising, but I think you should loose the comic-ish style you have on some figures, like the guy with the jacket and hat in your first post on this page. The crotch area of his trousers. The way the folds go is very simplified and I think that comes from copying the style of comics but without the understanding needed to simplify it the right way...
Jabo- Thanks dude,I really try to loose this style but the time show how it come out.Thank you for your visitation!
~Just messing around in photoshop~
I post these two pictures because I have problem with my monitor and photoshop and want to see how they gone look at my work pc
from left to right --> normal JPG and JPG but save for web
moooooooooooooooooooooooore reffed studies please!
focus on values and edges! If you work at a low res 72 ppi at ~800x800 pixels, then you're going to end up with fuzzy edges. A cheat to working low res is to use filter>unsharp mask. It's usually best to work at a larger size, and then when you save your jpg, save it as a smaller size. Usually gives you better edges.
I already told you the frog is awesome
Apart from that - what Texahol is saying is true. And unsharp mask is the ultimate filter!
I like the expression of the character in the last picture You really managed to convey a sense of surprise. Good job! But the lighting is a bit messed up. I can't really tell where the light is coming from because there are equally light and equally dark parts all over the picture. The left eye (his right) seems to be infront of his skull instead of inside it. When you paint things like that block in the big forms first, then the small ones - meaning you should first show that the head has an egg-like shape, then show that the nose protrudes from it and the eye sockets go back into it. Then put the eyes in and shade them accordingly knowing that one is on the shaded side of the face and sits in a socket which makes even more shadow over it. Keep those things in mind
Now draw more studies! And show them here And keep having fun with all that
@Texahol - wow hello my friend thanks for this cheat dude it is great!
@Windmaker - thanks my friend I appreciate it,glad you like this shitin character in the last post I know it is very messed up but that is only an exercise I'll try out your advices, thanks for always coming here
